Does anyone have a favourite bean smash burger recipe they can share?

I had one at a local pub a few weeks ago and it was so good. I want to try and make my own. Looking for suggestions.

I’m going to go insane. I’m just not sleeping anymore. I have been on HRT since January 2025. Sleep has been on and off. I even increased to 300mg, slept good for a little bit then for months struggled. Decreased my progesterone to 200mg, slept great for a couple weeks and now I’m back to not sleeping again. I pass out hard for a few hours and then toss and turn for a few hours and then pass out again from 5-8am.

I’m not sure how much I can go on like this. I look like a walking zombie.

Current HRT
.1mg patch - no symptoms of low E
200mg progesterone
3mg testosterone gel

THC indica strain helps me sleep but I always wake up with a headache and feel hung over if I use it now. Before HRT I never had this issue. I just can’t use it very often.

Is anyone on a prescription sleep aid as well as progesterone? I’m wondering if I should be asking my doctor for something to top me up.

I’m not sure if it’s a regional issue, but the only forms of cream I have been offered are estrone and conjugated estrogen. Is this typical for most of you?

Suppository is estradiol (Imvexxy) which I’m on and my doctor gave me an estrone cream as well. Im curious if anyone has an estradiol cream that isn’t conjugated?

I found out my cat has small bladder stone. He does have a bladder infection with blood in urine. He was given antibiotics and pain meds and will recheck urine in 2 weeks. Will also be redoing X-rays in 2 months.

My vet has put him on Royal Canin s/o. I prefer feeding wet food but he won’t touch it. I went back to the clinic to buy the RC s/o kibble so he has something to eat.

I’m curious, has anyone had success with eliminating stones on the Hill’s c/d wet food? My vet never suggested it as an option but I’m wonder if I should ask to try it. I read on the Hill’s website that they do claim it reduces struvite stones.

ETD: The vet suggested I try sprinkling on FortiFlora Powdered to the RC s/o for smell and taste. I haven’t tried it yet.

I’m curious, is it ever possible to break a dog from having a high pray drive?

American Eskimo, 3 years old. I adopted him at 10 weeks of age. Summer time is the worst as the sidewalks are busy with squirrels, rabbits, birds, joggers and kids on bikes. In the winter it’s usually just me and him so it’s not an issue and the training comes to a halt till next summer and we have to start all over again.

For those of you who have had their dogs live a long time 10+ years. If they passed of old age, how did you know they were getting older and closer to passing?

Was it gradual or sudden? I adopted a senior guy last year suspected age 8-10, so really he could be older but I don’t think he is younger than 8. He definitely seems about 10 as his eyes are cloudy and the shelter had to remove most all his teeth.

He’s full of energy all morning and into the afternoon, but after dinner you can tell his battery is low and he just wants to chill.

He will run and play like crazy though which has me very curious how the breed might age. And will I find one day he’s just very tired and the slowing down will be drastic?

I just want to say this is fucked up. So many people knew she was messed up yet no one could do anything about it. Her previous doctor couldn’t say anything (how could he have known it would go that far) Even if Wade broke up with her and kicked her out, no one knows what lengths she would have gone to get him back. She hurt so many people with her lies.

The one odd thing to me though was, did they say her dad was at the baby shower? Did her dad not know she had a hysterectomy?

I have been reading that metformin can lower estrogen? Does anyone know if this is accurate and if it is how has it affected you?

For the record I cannot take a glp-1 as I have an intestinal structure as well as Hashimoto’s with sus nodules. So it’s not an option.

Metformin is prescribed off label to help with Hashimoto’s inflammation and the older I get the worse my inflammation is getting. I’m desperate to try anything. I have an appointment with my endocrinologist to discuss metformin and what my options are.
After reading about possible reduction in estrogen Im a bit nervous. I’m wondering if this is only natural estrogen and not HRT?

I’m thinking of reading the book as I have no patience to wait another season to know what happens. But I’m curious, how close is the show to the books accuracy?

It’s been documented that she wore her seatbelt on the day of the crash. But every single video of her in the car, she never had her seatbelt on.

Anyone have issues with their eyelashes being short since they started Levothyroxine? My eye lashes have always been full and long and since I started Levothyroxine they are tiny stubs. I’m really frustrated about this.

The hair on my head has grown in so much fuller and I have a lot of new hair growth around my forehead and sides. Why would my eyelashes become such an issue?

I do have Hashimoto’s with nodules, I’m not sure if this would be related. But why just my eyelashes?

I’m not sure if it’s related, but I have had right side tenderness which started about 2 weeks after I started testosterone, coincidence?

I have been on estrogen more than a year already (currently 100 patch) with no breast tenderness.
Currently on 300mg progesterone which I was on over a month before I started testosterone.

Testosterone dose is 3mg daily with no side effects of it being too high unless breast tenderness is one of them.

Can anyone suggest any good YouTube videos for housing improvement? I’m a visual person and can read till I’m blue in the face.

Should I push for a biopsy? My recent ultrasound showed “suspicious nodules” but the one I had found a year ago didn’t grow (it’s small at 1.1cm) and they found a second one at my one year follow up, that is also small.

I also have swelling in my glands that they just said were suspect of my Hashimoto’s.

I have symptoms like throat tightness and sore ears.
