Best authentic Chinese within 30 minutes of Providence?

Grew up in North Jersey eating so much Chinese food. My Dad would go to China once a year for about a month for years doing business and when he’d come back all the guys would tell him where to go for the best food.

I ate so much as a kid I got sick of it as a young adult lol but the past couple years my love has returned. Currently living in Providence, where would you go?

Old guys outside of Bagel Express 👀

The old guys outside of bagel express, anyone else have any interactions with them? They always sit and smoke and stare at any woman who walks by.

My girlfriend and I every time we passed them they stare at her ass and it makes her feel uncomfortable. I’ve witnessed them do that to almost every woman too. With nitro being near by there are loads of underage girls walking by and I’ve seen them stare, it’s gross.

Today I said something to them and they denied all wrong doing, even though they didn’t notice me staring at them cause their eyes were stuck on her.

Anyone else have any interactions like this? I don’t think they are associated with the bagel place but now we try to avoid it because of them.

EDIT: what I’ve learned from this post a bunch of incel/maga/whatever type is still in Providence, if you see something say something, fight the good fight

Relationship Banker for BoA, PTO and benefits?

Hey y'all, I'm transitioning from gym sales and managing restaurants into banking. I'm over being on my feet all day running around and looking for something where I can still help people but in a calmer setting (restaurants be crazy, a gym can be chill) plus better hours.

My favorite thing of restaurants and gyms is the time off, ussually a lot easier and my least favorite thing is how bad the benefits are.

So for a relationship banker at BoA, what is the PTO and benefits like? Do you like it? I am interviewing in New England

Job leads??

Hey y’all, been really struggling to get a job to afford my rent here.

I’ve had many employers reach out for an interview but then ultimately ghost me even after I reach out through email and calls after the initial contact. (Is that happening to a bunch of yall or is it just me? It’s been several well known business here)

I’m getting really discouraged and it’s ruining my mental health making me feel worthless.

I have mostly brewery experience but I’ve done fitness sales and bar management as well. I’m not from here originally and I’ve lost out on a couple jobs because “they knew the owner” and I can’t be hired now.

Does anyone have any leads for anything? I’m really desperate and I’m loaning money from family to stay afloat but I don’t know I feel like I have to ask here.

Looking for mainly breweries, but I am open to really anything anything at this point.

Thank you in advance and sorry if this is an annoying post..

EDIT: I've applied to 300+ jobs since March

Careers for Crohn’s

32m been bartending doing odd jobs most of my life. I need to start making more money and get health insurance because even the best state insurance is starting to go to shit.

I’m kinda clueless and I don’t know what I want to do/what would be good for me to do.

What kind of jobs do yall do that work for your Crohn’s? How did you get into it and is 32 too late for what you’re in?

I feel like I hear towards blue collar work but I’m afraid if I’m flaring I’ll poop myself and I’ll be super embarrassed but I don’t know

Possible partial blockage?

Hey y’all I’m a male and 32 and I moved a couple months ago

The past couple months, maybe about a year, I’ve been on off flaring, I’ll have a good day then a bad one and then a bunch of bad, a single good, and so on.

I have recently though seemed pretty bad, I feel like I can’t get everything out and when I do it’s just watery thick-ish stool and it’s kinda a lot of work and a bit painful. This morning I woke up at 3am having to go and it was kinda rough. This has been going on for 3 days where it’s been tougher.

I went to the hospital last week because I felt like I was partially blocked and said I’m good, did a bunch of blood, all normal, I followed up with a GI (new patient establishing care, hasn’t got back to me yet but it’s only been 1 week)

I started Skyrizi a year ago and I don’t think it’s ever worked for me, the loading doses did but after that it’s been the same. I’m pretty sure this one never worked for me, Humira has failed me as well.

For those of you who have had a partial blockage what was it like? Did you actually have one? What did they do? When did you know it was time to go to the hospital?

I’ve had Crohn’s for 11 years now but this one is a first for me.

Thank you

Rhode Island hospitals are scary bad

I recently moved here and I am shocked how poor the medicals are here, my prior research showed a shortage but said care was still good.

I can’t find a PCP who can see me in the next 5-6 months, can’t get at GI until then which will be an even longer wait, can’t get my new script until I see I GI.

Tried to by pass the system because I have no meds left and I’m bleeding a bunch and I’ve been sitting in an ER room for 7 hours, no updates when I ask.

Wtf is going on

Your best biohacks for IBD?

I have Crohn’s and I’m curious what y’all have done to assist your IBD

Edit: I’m currently on a biologic but due to the federal government I am unsure if I’ll be able to continue my medication so looking for anything to help me out if I lose coverage

Can’t get a doctor in RI… what do I do?

Moved to RI a couple months ago and it has almost impossible for me to get a PCP let alone a GI doctor. I’m running out of meds and also dealing with a flare.

Does anyone have any ideas how to navigate the RI healthcare system? Need help. My insurance only allows me to see providers in RI.

If anyone knows doctors that can see people quickly please let me know

Obviously looking for a Mune jersey, where are y’all getting yours? I got a Teel jersey from Fanactics a couple months ago, pretty affordable with all the promos I was able to tackle on, but even then I don’t think the quality is worth it

I’m looking for someone to put a Japanese lobster on forearm, taking over the whole front.

Wanted to ask what are some of y’all’s favorite artists, any that do a lot of animal works perhaps.

Thanks in advance

We need to keep the boy in the south side, we can build around him, let's get Jerry to push the burden onto our potential lord and savior of Ishbia. I petition this now
