i'm going to keep things vague here in case something weird happens, but basically my dad is finishing up signing a rental agreement for a property in orangeville, and the person he's been communicating with just sent him a large document in addition to the rental agreement.

at the end of this document the woman that my dad has been talking to has slapped a 1600$ fee for her "Services" ... which is about half the rent of the property.

my dad's not made of money right now so this came as a shock to him, and the way he explained it made me think it was a scam, or at least a way to get extra money out of people who don't know any better.

please let me know if he can just ignore this ludicrous fee, cause all that she's been doing is being a middleman for the landlord, surely that means the landlord should be paying her??

EDIT: forgot to mention that my dad is fairly sure she didn't disclose this fee up front

EDIT 2: OKAY so everything is good, the realtor didn't tell my dad that the form that she sent is for both landlord and tenant? It's really weird but she says that he doesn't have to pay. She may just have bad communication skills.

Hi all

Took my leaky 1991 Chevy Caprice to a Chevrolet dealer just to see what they would say about the oil leaks

They gave me a quote of 5000$CAD plus tax to fix the oil leaks, due to them having to pull the engine to fix the rear main seal.

Is this a reasonable price? Worth it at all? This 91 is currently my daily driver. And I do have the money to pay for this. Just wondering if I should shop around

I have a Windows 11 pc running with some pretty basic hardware:
Gigabyte B550 Eagle Wifi6
32gb ddr4
1070 8gb
AMD ryzen 7 5700

as for the issue:
when i'm running a video on youtube AND playing a videogame, or playing another video on telegram/discord the audio will just, pop? like presumably at high peaks in the audio, but it also seems random. I can't recall when this started, it was almost gradual? it doesn't matter if i use my usb headphones or my 3.5mm jack speakers, the audio will pop.

i've tried messing with audio settings, turning off 'enhancements' etc. nothing seems to work

i haven't tried completely resetting my pc yet, as I don't want to have to reinstall everything

I'm totally prepared to get downvoted to hell but I need some answers from real people; what are the major differences between this game and JW3?

This game looks really truly amazing, and I'm tempted to pick it up once the new update drops, but I've also had my run with JW3 and I'm curious if I'd enjoy this game too.
