Collected Lego for decade, never even considered other brands.
Recently ran into Barweer’s sets and gave their ‘Pathfinder’ Star Wars-based ship a try.
Simply phenomenal. The price was a joke it was so low and I couldn’t see a difference in brick quality with Lego.
Bought their Crow Castle next. Needed some Crow Knights - online had 8 for 10% of the aftermarket cost of ONE official figure, and they have more printing.
What is Lego doing with its pricing? Even major collectors like myself are now straying.
Roddenberry demanded a ship that worked - that internal consistency made Trek ‘real’ and its something Kurtzman will never understand.

Despite the ludicrous, Lego-esque price, keen to get the new carrier. Puzzled Cobi left the deck so plain. Anyone seen some decals that might work? Rare case where stickers might be a positive.

Well, too bad! Tracey needs to go away for an hour because the diabolical Blofeld wants…to scam some lineage?
Why does M16 care? Why would anyone care if Blofeld succeeds or not? At the conclusion of the film it’s entirely forgotten anyway. In the next film, Blofeld is back to doomsday weapons.
I really enjoy the parts of OHMSS connected to Tracey, but the heraldry is so ludicrously banal (but played as if it matters) that I don’t get how - overall - people can rate this film.
Can I have a ‘director’s cut’ with the second act removed?
The official set is the rare example where it needed more stickers (or prints, ideally). I was determined to add the ventral phasers the Lego designers seemed to forget about. As a MOC, I’ll probably be tweaking it for years to come. Maybe with another 100 escape pods😂
