Many of you may have seen my previous posts regarding a Southfield-based property management company, REDICO, leasing space to OPLA, the lawyers for ICE, in Southfield. You may have heard about the violent abduction by ICE at Tel-12 two weeks ago. Residents of Southfield and others have a lot of questions and information is hard to find. Join us for an informational panel, "What does it mean to be a good neighbor when ICE moves next door", this Wednesday at 6:30 pm at the Southfield Civic Center, room 115. Local activists, Former Pontiac City Council President Kermit Williams, and others, including special guest Rashida Tlaib, will be discussing the situation with ICE in Southfield and beyond.
This community conversation is an opportunity to come together, hear from local leaders, ask questions, and discuss what it means to be a good neighbor. This is a peaceful, educational, community discussion, not a protest. For who simply want to better understand what’s happening, you’re welcome to attend. Healthy communities are built through conversation, not assumptions.

I ordered Audition by kyonpalm back in May, website said shipping in three days. Hasn't arrived yet (Bandcamp says arrival by June 17th). Messages have not been responded to. Is this normal? I started picking up her records whenever I saw them about thirty years ago and still always check every shop I visit on the off chance I'll see something new. I finally broke down and got her compilation with Ennio Morricone, the OST for 1971's Sacco and Vanzetti, online last year after looking in person for more than 20 years.

Hi all, hoping for some help. I ended up with this signed MBM record 20+ years ago in a lot of nine inch nails records. I wasn't familiar with MBM at the time and cannot read the signature. Does anyone have any context for these remixes or the signature? TIA!

I did a cursory search here and saw some posts from several months ago about unfulfilled orders; are they still problematic to order from? I understand delays but not orders just never arriving. I just want to listen to Birth of a New Day on repeat forever!
I came across an amazing collection of original Congolese albums today in the store and couldn't resist! Hadn't heard of any of the artists but have loved them so far and the art is beautiful. This is one of my favorite parts of buying records, coming across whole worlds of genres you hadn't ever thought about.
