Catching up on the first Phish after show...

...and damn, talk about putting your best foot forward! They just dive into this and don't look back. "Darkness Singularity" opener is how you bring in new listeners in 2026. Sounds tight, well woven, and totally locked in. Enjoy tonight to all hitting up tonight's show!

Fuck tarpers

I get that you showed up early and set your blanket over six seats for the two of you, but it's a sold out show. You gotta make SOME room.

Then instead of asking people to leave, you just passive aggressively bump into them and elbow people in the ribs.

If you need 20 square feet to enjoy yourself at a concert keep your old fucking ass at home.

Cheese crowds have always been my favorite and nothing but good vibes but goddamn if last night CO definitely earned its reputation in the jam scene as having shitty crowds.

I noticed something from the 5/2 Hartford show...

The massive, 38 minute Shatter from this spectacular show ends with a full-on Come On Eileen jam. But if you listen back to the Shallow Rivers in set one, Jake is already paving the way for that moment by sneaking in a Come On Eileen tease just before the 6 minute mark. A really fun little easter egg!

The Maynard Heater

What a fucking show! Packed house on a weeknight in a former church blasted with a sick light show and the perfect wooden floor for hours of dancing. Rolling up to find someone vending tie dyes and a sole doses guy making the rounds in front of the venue was extremely charming. I was hoping to get a Fake The Fate, and was immediately rewarded with a sick one out the gate. So many glorious sprawling jams, particularly the 30+ min Windmill. Skipping the encore is always something I applaud, but doing so to give Corey and Shon room for extended solos at what is essentially their only hometown show of the summer was really special. Especially on Salamander Song, the ideal show closer. A very celebratory experience for the band, the venue, and the fans. Let's go.

Best section of MSG to just float in

I have some baaaaad tickets to an upcoming MSG gig, and I haven't been back to the venue since 2019. What's a good zone to just stand in/float for the show where ya won't get hassled? I don't have GA, so I'm looking at specific parts of the seated area where this is possible. Thank you in advance!

Going track by track through Spafford’s new album “Cat Shop” with singer-guitarist Brian Moss

I interviewed Brian about "Cat Shop"- I've sat with it for a few days, and this record whips ass. It was great to hear his insight into the album, and we had some FUN along the way.
