As toronto is known for filming sets for many movies and series , have you met any celebrities randomly in a cafe, street , workplace, restaurant ( not in concert , tiff or meet and greets )
I have met Paul Wesley ( stefan from TVD) , Antonia Gentry ( ginny from G&G) and Finn Wolfhard ( Mike from stranger things) . I met them randomly at my workplaces.
When I spin this one later tonight I’ll post a comparison.
We lost some beautiful old trees in a recent severe storm that rolled through Toronto this summer. Sad to see the silver maple go. Shot these on my Olympus Om2sp with either a 28mm or 24mm lens I can’t remember which one I used and it’s shot on aurora800 iso film which I enjoy as an alternative to cinestill or portra from time to time :-)
Deeply rahillian take on periods and stuff
3 LP’s of pure musical joy
This pure pleasure analogue pressing of this incredible strata east record sounds amazing. I guess it’s become harder to find and is out of print now because I’ve noticed prices have really shot up on this one. If you find a copy for a decent price I’d say this is an instant buy!
Been listening back through the archives hard and spending so much time w the boys has me feeling parasocially connected as fuck to them. Wondering if they feel the same ass way about us….
I checked them out and this was the essential album on Apple Music. Listened to the first couple songs and could immediately tell this was a legendary album and that I wanted to own it on wax. On first listen I texted my friend who showed me them that I heard notes of Sigur Ross, portishead, Radiohead. Come to find out after I buy the record that it’s produced by Flood, and a couple tunes are mixed by Nigel Godrich. Very very cool album. Unfortnaley I think these girls just split up as a band but they’ve got an amazing back catalogue of records and they are all awesome.
A couple of these I was inspired to grab because of this sub!
How bout multimillionaires? How bout 8 inches, and thick?
Found this one today and the groove on this record is awesome.
This is the OG green label and man oh man does it ever sound good. RVG and the boys cooked on this one. Got it for 50 bucks (CAD) and it was still in shrink. All around VG+ and plays very clean!
