Property Manager has been MIA

So for the past 2 ish months, I’ve noticed that my property manager hasn’t been in her office at all during the mornings, and only comes to the office in the afternoons. Somedays, and for the past week, no one has been at the leasing office as it’s been completely closed.

Because of the humidity and bathroom having no window and only a fan, which isn’t working properly due to caked on dust, there’s been some mold growth in the bathroom. I’ve placed my own fan in the bathroom to all for air to circulate somewhat, and to hopefully get rid of some of the humidity.

I have reached out to the property manager a couple times this week regarding this issue, and 1 other concern. No response has been made, and I had to reach out to another property that owns the buildings.

I do have asthma and an inhaler, although I wouldn’t say my asthma is a life or death situation. But allergens and mold can make my asthma/allergies worse. What should I do in this situation as I can’t get ahold of anyone?

I cannot take this medication anymore

I’ve been on 100 mg for a few years now, and the excessive sweating has driven me mad for years. Constant agitation and irritability, and now due to the sweating I broke my favourite sandals. I’ve had enough of this stupid drug 😭

Depression in the US

I see a doctor for mental health help but I feel so utterly lonely and depressed. I try to keep myself busy in the summer, but as a student looking for work, it’s been really difficult. I absolutely love my dog as well (she’s my buddy), but I miss having family around or someone to ease that pain of loneliness.

Trying to find 3 missing brothers or sisters

My grandfather was born to Carmela Prospera Pavia and Leonardo Altieri in Fateo Foggia in 1918. He has a total of 11-12 brothers and sisters, and I can only find 8 of them. I need the names of the other children but I cannot read Italian.

Sergeant Major World War II

My grandfather was in World War II as a Sargent major. He fought in Yugoslavia and Russian (the eastern front).

Can someone help me understand what this specific document is saying? I’m not entirely familiar with war time records or what they mean exactly.

My grandpa rarely discussed the war, but did mention at one point that he was entitled to some medals still.

Finding my Grandma’s Mother

I can’t find anything on my grandmas mother. I know when she was born, where she was born (all of my family was born in Faeto, Foggia), and her spouse.. however I’m stuck.

I’m also trying to get my grandfathers war records. His name was Giuseppe Altieri. Born May 23rd, 1918 in Faeto.

Update: Spectrum Support isn’t helpful

I’m trying to get a new box/shipping label sent so I can send off my old device. Spectrum support has passed me off multiple times to various service reps in different departments, all because I need a new box and label sent. The original box/label was never sent, and assurant said its spectrum that has to request it.

Canadian in the US

I moved to the US 2 years ago to finish my law degree, and it’s been a lot, but not in the usual way.

It’s starting to wear me thin when people ask me “why would you move to the US?” In a way that isn’t out of genuine curiosity, but rather, a way for them to sort of declare their political stance. Some friends I’ve met on a local discord would tease my accent (which is fine at first), but mixed in with some “friends” making jokes that they would “contact” ICE, and get me deported” has me sort of on edge.

I’m in the American Midwest as I do have some family here. I wouldn’t want to live here long term, but it’s amazing how ignorant people are?

Spectrum Trade In

Spectrum was supposed to send me a box kit to trade in my old device, but never did.

I’m assuming they’re closed today to contact them?

Issues with getting citizenship?

My father is an Italian immigrant, and my grandparents are Italian as well. All born in Italy and Italian citizens. They became Canadian citizens before I was born, however, my grandparents were Italian citizens at the time my father was born in Italy.

We’ve been having issues getting mine and my sisters Italian citizenship through the Vancouver consult. Is there ANY way to get citizenship?

I’ll note that my father was born in 1959, and came to Canada when he was 8 years old. My father became a Canadian citizen sometime in the late 60’s, before I was born (in 96). I believe my grandparents did become citizens as well.

All my family on my dad’s side are Italian (Italian born and raised). We keep hitting road blocks when trying to apply for citizenship.

Does it get any easier?

I’m a Canadian living in the US and homesickness has hit me hard recently. Although my parents have come down twice in the 1.5 years I’ve been living here, and I have a solid group of friends, I’m a single 30 year old who’s completing school.

I go on daily walks with my dog, hang out with friends during the week, but I do feel lonely as at the end of the day, I have no one to come home to anymore.

Does it get any better? I’ve tried dating apps and they’re horrible..

I cannot deal with the sweating anymore

I’ve been on 100 mg for a few years now, however, through process of elimination, Pristiq seems to cause the excessive sweating. I cannot even go outside for 5 mins without breaking a sweat anymore..

Any other Canadians That Live Here?

I moved to the US 2 years ago for school and I’ve made a solid group of friends. However, it’s been a bit rocky at times and I’m fairly home sick now more than ever. I’m not sure if I can continue living here as I miss my family.

For other Canadians, what helped you? I struggle with other international students sometimes just due to language barriers and cultural barriers.

Humid Weather Causing Acne

I’m not from Ohio and moved here 2 years ago. I never really had acne or breakouts back home as the weather was super dry. Now, since being in Ohio, I experience more breakouts and acne. I do daily face washes with light products, but it doesn’t always help..

What has helped others??
