Apart from the regular e20 vs e85 discourse, why are people over looking the fact of its impact on transportation industry. As per Gadbadi, diesel is also going to be blended with fuel.

My father is in the transport line and majority of trucks that are responsible for transportation of essential commodities, construction and other commodities takes place strictly through these decades old trucks that already have a mileage of less than 5 kmpl.

If in the foreseeable future, diesel mixed with ethanol will clearly cause a significant drop in mileage and transportation cost is gonna go up which eventually lead to every commodity around is becoming more expensive.

I’m very much willing to have a constructive conversation on this topic.

Now that most of Netflix’s Tentpole projects are over, 3 Body Problem had the potential to be their next flagship show. With D&D as creators, the project had the potential to be just as popular as Dark or Stranger Things.

Those who have read the trilogy know that there is nothing that comes even remotely close to it.

However, they spent 8 episodes covering the events of first book which is the thinnest of the trilogy while the second and third book which are extremely vast and lengthier is reportedly going to have a grand total of 11 episodes.

There is no way they will be able to cover all the nuances of the book and it will end up as just another Netflix Sci-fi slop.

While discussing ‘From’, I was recommended to watch a SyFy series called 12 Monkeys. I was initially not interested as the show had so low discourse all over the internet but took a leap and watched it anyways.

Hands down it’s one of the best pieces of television I have ever seen. Despite being a mystery box show, the pacing is so good. Unlike From, 12 Monkeys has a steady combination of questions and answers throughout its runtime so that you never feel lost while still being further from the climax. The quality of writing is on the same as level as Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul.

It could have easily ended up as Prestige Television had it been backed by a mainstream network otherwise it’s even better than Dark.

I’m visiting Bangalore in December and after that I’m planning to explore Tamil Nadu on bike.

I plan on renting a bike from any place in TN and circle back to the same place in a week or two.

I would really appreciate if you can help me prepare an itinerary keeping these points in mind.

1. I have to arrive at the starting destination from Bangalore.
2. I need to rent a bike from the starting destination.
3. I’m not interested in visiting temples although I can go around them for its architectural beauty.
4. Main purpose of the road trip is to explore TN culture and scenery.

Who tf in their right mind thought that a movie written by Imitiaz Ali should be followed by a movie written by Luv Ranjan.

Kriti is basically Sweety, Rashmika is Sonu and Shahid is Titu. You have Kriti in the second half literally hell bent on breaking their marriage and demeaning Rashmika publicly every chance she gets and they are still shown as best friends by the end of the movie.

Rashmika on the other hand has the worst written character I have ever seen. She’s the literal embodiment of ‘creating your own struggles’. The poor acting on top of that makes her unbearable.

Shahid is way past his prime when it comes to looks and clearly overacted in the first half.

Also, there doesn’t go a scene where Kriti’s cleavage is not shown. She’s wearing a bikini throughout the movie. Even her sarees can put Sushmita Sen’s sarees from Mai Hoon Na to shame. What made Veronica iconic was her personality rather then her clothes while Kriti’s character has the personality of a cardboard that’s wearing a bikini.

Hands down one of the worst movie’s of this year.

I have never came across a show with such polarising views. For me personally, FROM is a perfect example of decline in writing standards. The show begins with a great premise and keeps the tension building for the first two seasons and makes you yearn for the answers. The third season is where it feels like things are finally going to pay off and sets up fourth season with a banger finale. Then comes the fourth season and it’s nothing but filler.

However what has caught me by surprise is how toxic the fandom is. Any legit criticism of the show is immediately met with Tik Tok brain and ‘if you don’t like it don’t watch it’.

The most used defence for the show is that its a ‘character driven’ show set in the backdrop of mystery. I fail to understand how can a show which is character driven has such one dimensional characters and poor dialogues not to mention the sub par acting.

I genuinely want to engage in a discourse regarding the show but the toxicity in r/fromseries made me want to engage with the general audience.
