I know how this sub feels about c**lists, but how about runners who recreationally ride cheap bicycles with their kids? Are there any scenarios when it is socially acceptable to ride a bicycle?

Update: I’m not buying the bicycle due to my concerns it might be a stolen bicycle. But I’m still interested to know how common it is to find stolen bikes on online marketplaces and what red flags I should look out for?

On a hot weekday, what is the best time of day to arrive at Indiana Sane Dunes State Park in Chesterton to avoid long entry lines? Or how does the line vary throughout the day?

My camping check in time tomorrow is 2 PM. I know it can take an hour or more to get through the front gate, so I’d like to arrive when lines are likely to be shortest. I’m flexible to arrive early or late (will hang out at beach if I get there early).

What percent of your media consumption is rewatching something you’ve already seen versus watching something you’ve never seen? How often in the past couple years have you found a new favorite?

Definitely more than half my media consumption is rewatching my favorites. I try to branch out and watch new things (including old shows I’ve never seen), but most of it just can’t compare to my favorites.

I’ve seen about 20 “new to me” sitcoms over the past few years. The only one I’m interested to rewatch is Awkwafina is Nora from Queens. Honorable mention to Girls5eva, Acapulco, and Hacks. All enjoyable enough to watch once.

I watched IASIP for the first time in 2023. I could appreciate the humor, but didn't enjoy the characters (especially Dennis). Didn't expect to ever rewatch it.

I'm on my first rewatch and I'm finding the show a lot more funny this time around. I love Frank and Charlie and I can mostly tolerate Dennis.

I know my other favorite shows (such as Arrested Development and Community) get better with each rewatch, so it seems IASIP is the same. Just wondering how many times you've rewatched IASIP?

In general, it's really difficult for me to get into new shows (even shows that are now my absolute favorites). I feel like Scrubs could be a show I enjoy if I give it enough of a chance, but I'm on Season 1 Episode 4 and don't know whether I want to stick with it.

My favorites are Arrested Development, Community, and New Girl. I also like The Office, Parks and Recreation, 30 Rock, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, and Brooklyn Nine-Nine.

My son plays Fortnite on Nintendo Switch. He got a $15 Fortnite gift card and wants to buy a Battle Pass.

- I redeemed the gift card on his account at epicgames.com
- I used the funds to purchase V-Bucks
- The V-Bucks are not showing up on the Nintendo Switch even though he restarted the game
- I can’t find any way to purchase the Battle Pass on the website.
- I downloaded the app on my phone and signed into his account, but when I tap on “Get Battle Pass” it doesn’t do anything.

Is there any way to see the V-Bucks on his account on the Nintendo Switch?
Is there any way to buy the Battle Pass on the website without downloading the actual app?

I have a clean driving record, but I received a “local ordinance” u-turn violation from Whiting Police. I was told that they do not offer the “infraction deferment program” for u-turns.

Anyone who has received a ticket from Whiting Police: did it cause your car insurance premiums to increase?

If you went to court, did they give you any option to be able to keep the ticket off your driving record?

I can’t remember if this show has any jokes involving billboards that are vandalized in a vulgar way? Ex - vandalism of an image of a person holding up their fist close to their mouth? I can’t figure out if I’m thinking of Silicon Valley or it’s another show (possibly VEEP or Detroiters)?
