Palestinian teacher Mahmoud Hosni has died from injuries sustained in an Israeli airstrike in Gaza.
Hosni, known as Abu Hosni, had worked as a teacher and trainer and was involved in educational activities for children in his neighborhood throughout the war.
He established a school in a tent after the start of the war, providing education to children despite the difficult conditions.
Born and raised in Egypt, Hosni later returned to Gaza with his family. He was also known for establishing an educational center and organizing summer camps for children and youth in his community
