I’ve been noticing something interesting in the area where I live… there’s a HUGE gap when it comes to reliable internet access. Most people here either deal with slow speeds, unstable connections, overpriced packages, or no proper coverage at all.

So I’ve seriously started thinking about building a small ISP/WiFi business for the area — maybe starting with a few access points and scaling slowly over time.

For those of you who’ve already done this or work in networking/telecom:

- What was your starting budget?

- What equipment/products did you need first?

- How much does licensing cost?

- What mistakes should I avoid as a beginner?

- Is it possible to start small and grow without millions in capital?

- How do local ISPs usually get bandwidth?

- What are the monthly operational costs like?

I’d really appreciate real-world advice, rough budgets, setup ideas, and lessons from people already in the industry. I feel like this could become a massive opportunity if done right.
