Spam musubi

Not sure what the traditional recipe is but this is how I made it…
Fried the spam for a few mins till it browned a little, then I added a mix of soy sauce, rice wine vinegar and sugar. Cooked a bit longer so it went sticky.
The sushi rice is mixed with a little sushi vinegar (kong yen brand). Used the spam tin and some cling film to mould the rice with the spam, then wrapped in a trimmed nori sheet ☺️

My amazing boyfriend makes my HA worse!

Since being with my boyfriend (since July last year), my HA is worse because I think I have more to lose now! Like any negative health news would be so much worse because now I’m happier in every other sense. It’s stressful tbh. He’s great at reassuring me and helping me see the anxiety as a separate thing to physical symptoms.. he’s just too wonderful. Sorry if this sounds like bragging, I am so glad to have him and his support but it does cause me heartache sometimes.

Never had eyebrows done, should I?

I only pluck the stray hairs and fill them in occasionally.. could they be better??
Pic of my ‘full face’ makeup and my every day makeup for reference.

Lemon tiramisu

My signature dessert! I don’t think I make it the same way every time because I just try is as I go, but generally..
Layer 1. Ladyfingers soaked in a mix of lemon juice, icing sugar and a little water
Layer 2. Mascarpone mixed with lemon juice and icing sugar. If not mascarpone, light cream cheese mixed with a little double cream. This one needs a good amount of sugar so it’s pretty sweet.
Layer 3. Lemon curd mixed with a little lemon juice, just to make the curd a bit less solid.
I then do the same layers again. I top with double cream whipped with a little icing sugar and, lemon zest and lemon juice. I don’t make this layer as sweet, it’s more of a fresh flavour.

Basa fish tacos

Soft tortillas, seasoned basa fish, homemade salsa and sour cream. I also made a lime mayo (just mayo and sour cream with lime and some chilli added). Had some tortilla chips too for the rest of the salad, but nice crumbles into the taco!

Download virgins - help!

My boyfriend and I are coming to Download for the first time ever and camping the whole weekend.
What are your tips for newbies?
Can I bring one of those pull along trolleys (for the campsite only)?
What food/drink can you bring to the campsite?
Thank you 😊

Haircut advice?

Hey! I have fairly long dark hair (naturally v dark brown but I dye it as black as possible). It’s not very thick.
I also have a 3inch long scar from a skull surgery that follows the top/middle of my hairline. It’s within my hair though. It’s not super obvious but I’m paranoid about the front of my hair looking thin because hair wont grow there! (My friends/boyf say it’s not noticeable).

I want to keep most of the length but it just looks boring and flat.
I’ve had bangs before but they don’t seem to sit right (maybe due to the scar). Debating trying longer bangs so they’re not so high maintenance? Baby bangs are cute on others but don’t think they’d suit me at all.
Any recommendations?

1st pic is straightened, 2nd pic mostly air dried, 3rd pic dried with a babyliss hot brush.

eBay for selling clothes?

My boyfriend and I are moving house soon and want to get rid of some clothes and things we don’t need. I was planning to use Vinted but I’ve heard some negatives to using it, like the sizings being weird and bad returns process etc. Is eBay good/easy for selling clothes? How easy is it to post, can you still use inpost lockers etc without a home printer? Is it free to list and is there a limit on listings? Thanks in advance.
