Food noise
Ok please don’t downvote me to hell I’m not trying to be offensive but just understand what people feel on glp1.
Full disclosure I do not use glp1 and I’m not overweight. But this “food noise” thing really confuses me. This is in no way a general opinion about people who use glp1s because everyone has their own unique experience. But as a thin person I also experience food noise. I am not naturally thin and I feel like I suffer both mentally and physically and I would love to use a glp1 to quiet my mind. I think about food constantly like what my next meal will be and when I do “overeat” or eat unhealthy, the guilt follows me for days. How does it work in that respect for you? I know I don’t qualify for it but I feel like it sucks that it can’t be used as a tool for other people who experience the thoughts that I do.
Dutch
Dutch is my objective choice for best character on this show but damn what a roller coaster with this guy. Like I'm oddly attracted to him when he's interrogating a suspect but then I just watched the episode where this happens:
Corrine: "so you're not just dating me to get back at Vic, right?"
Dutch: "no! no! well at first I was...."
OOF. He is the smartest dumb man/dumbest smart man ever.
Explain to me like I’m 5
I’m watching for the first time and feel so dumb because I can’t for the life of me understand how they would ever be able to spend the cash not knowing which bills were marked. Were they just hoping to launder the money with people who were gullible enough to do it? And even if the bills were spent or deposited by someone else it would always lead back to the strike team.
Just watched the episode where Lem burns the money and I don’t get how any viewers could be pissed at him? Haha I was breathing a sigh of relief even though I know what’s to come. I was like “wow Lem must feel a huge weight off his shoulders and the other guys will come around eventually!” Why would anyone want to be watching their back 24/7 for the rest of their lives especially Vic and Shane, who have families to worry about?
If I had to put my money on an explanation I’d just say…these guys are stupid as hell and not thinking clearly? Is that it? I could understand that being the case for Shane but I’m having a hard time wrapping my mind around Vic ever believing this would work out after finding out the money was marked.
Temu crap on this site
I ordered a phone case from an Etsy shop that had pretty good reviews and over 100 sales. I am not super picky about a phone case but wanted a cute design. The seller's profile said "ships from United States" which I NOW know probably means they are based outside of the country but order stuff using a third party. The shipping company was "uniuni" which I Googled and seems to be a company that is used to ship stuff from Temu, etc.
Anyway, pictured is what I ordered and.... what I got. It really pisses me off that there are sellers on Etsy with zero quality control. It's not like they can really scam their customers since we are protected by Etsy, but it's totally ridiculous these shops are allowed to be in business. Because I requested a refund (and got it almost immediately) the seller cancelled my order, which I thought was odd. THEN I realized that they did this so I couldn't leave a bad review and photo evidence. Is there a workaround for this? I feel like other customers should be aware. Or should I just report this shop? They have other positive reviews but 75% of them sound like bots.
Makeup Review Videos
Is it just me or is it super annoying that every single lip product review video I see on Instagram, TikTok, and Youtube -- the reviewer already had a lip color on! I'm not even talking about reviews showing multiple shades. I've watched plenty of Tiktoks where they review one color and they have an obvious lip stain already on their lips. Why do people do this? And does anyone know of an influence who doesn't do it? I find lipsticks, glosses, and stains to be the hardest products to shop for online.
Depression 6 months later
Hi all,
I’m writing this out of desperation because I’m worried this might be my new normal. I actually had to leave this sub because a lot of the posts were triggering for me since I only got 10 eggs out of 2 rounds. I did a round at 37 and 38 so I was on a high dose of hormones.
It’s been a little over 6 months (December) since my last retrieval and I’m still feeling the mental health effects. I’m someone who has never been lazy. I love having a pajama day here and there but if I have no plans on the weekends I will ALWAYS go out and do something by myself. Even if it’s a walk, lunch at a bar solo, bookstore, museum, you name it.
Since February I have been so lazy and unmotivated. My body feels fine for the most part but I’m so mentally exhausted. It’s like I don’t want to think. I used to get excited over even small excursions and now I can barely get to the grocery store. It’s not like I’m upset and crying all the time, I’m just soooo lazy and unmotivated.
I almost want to blame going off of birth control last March (2025) after 12 years of being on it, but I feel like I should be past that by now. My PMS symptoms have changed a little because the birth control worked so well for me, but I’m more concerned about the mental health effects. Has anyone else been through this and is there hope at all? I’d like to hear about anyone’s experience.
Tl/dr: I am experiencing some depression and feeling unmotivated 6+ months after my last egg retrieval (I did one in September and one in December). This is very unlike me.
What's with the July Leo hate?
So I'm not sure if anyone else here watches Summer House on Bravo but if you don't, all you need to know is there are 3 cast members who are Leos: Amanda (bad), Lindsay (Good) and Kyle (Good). I just saw a post in a forum that said "It makes soo much sense that Amanda is a July Leo and Lindsay and Kyle are August Leos."
Like...why are August Leos such haters? It's such a weird phenomenon. As a July Leo I don't even think about "August Leos." I also never see other zodiac signs slamming their monthly counterparts. When did this even become a thing? Also people seem to forget 1st Decan Leos are true Leos....just saying.
Hot Take
I know I am probably going to get heat for this but does anyone else feel like Danny resents the fact that their 4th baby was a girl? The "brother for Asher" comment was so weird to me, not to mention the fact that their infant daughter is on screen almost every time they are, yet I don't see him giving her much attention. I get that there's a lot we don't see behind the scenes but the way he was so dismissive of the baby's needs on that safari ride made me legit uncomfortable.
