im convinced only those who are yet to visit bombay, call this city mini mumbai lol like really who gave this title.

why do very less core companies visit iitb as compared to other 7 iits? i have noticed that core mech, electrical companies are rare commodity here due to which mtech peeps have to ultimately try for IT roles to get placed.

Many times I have noticed that tiwari genuinely wants to become father of angoori child, like his line in one episode "tumhari issi wajah se ham lala ke sukh se wanchit reh jaate hai" and imo it feels weird and contradictory to theme of the show as we all know tiwari loves Anita.

Whenever this happens I feel tiwari character writing is little weak and his love for Anita is many times smaller than vibhuti love for angoori.

What do u guys feel?

Completed all gate da go classes lectures, made very detailed notes but no revision Done at all till now, neither any pyqs. I'm thinking of starting revision and topic wise tests od each subject from now on can you all please share what should be my strategy going ahead.

Man I'm tired of searching good non veg food in indore, how do non vegetarians who can't cook survive in indore.

Specially in area where I live (annapurna) there are no non veg outlets, if some open by mistake then these rss goons come and beat up the staff there and close it down it happened with 1 recently.

And if there good non veg food then that's too expensive, sorry I'm not paying 700 for butter chicken and 150 for a Naan. Is there no option except moving out of indore?

They introduced like 3,4 new mtech specializations. How will they even manage to get them placed in this recession? Competetion for placement will be next level now in iiit allahabad think twice before joining.

why are IIT bombay mtec IEOR and syscon placements on a decline since last 2-3 years? many seniors told that students are either going unplaced or taking below 10lpa offers

No respect from parents, society, relatives no respect at all that too if you are unemployed to prep for exam not that you have lost job or some shit.

No money to buy shit, no one takes your calls seriously and hang up saying they are busy call later. Even someone earning 2lpa has more respect than unemployed person

One of my relatives son is doing mtech at IIT kanpur in geological technology, he is civil graduate.

He told me that is he is doing dsa all day in library after classes and preparing for sde jobs and it really confused me lol like don't they focus on research and job opportunities in their specialization? Like for sde, data science roles you will have to compete with whole iit kanpur.

Is this the case nowadays in mtech?

Was seeing latest placement report and pg placement fell from 82% last year to just 57% this year? Why such sharp decline?

Wanted to know mtech material science placement stats, but the seniors of this college are so shit they don't utter a word. As if I just asked their kidney and not one, each and every one of them are like that.

Do u guys have some policy or what to not tell any info regarding placement anywhere or tnp will hunt you down?

Even tier 2 mba colleges are giving good median above 12lpa and decent placement percentage, and here nits and some tier 2,3 iits are struggling to place their mtechs. someone recently shared svnit surat data and its mba placements were better than every mtech branch lol despite being an engineering college of national importance and also it was the first mba batch!!. i dont want to do mtech vs mba here i just want to know that has AI not affected the mba job market at all?

Was talking to some seniors on linkedin and he told that these newly added self sponsored programs except for cse/ai are just scams and are introduced for fund collection for the college.

In recent times u must have seen many iits introducing new mtech programs, like robotics and ai, sustainable energy etc be very careful on choosing these programs, these are introduced just so that u can work on professors projects and ultimately do phd under them cuz u anyways not getting job from these programs.

There are already very less placements in iits,less companies are visiting on campus and some of these iits keep opening new mtech programs each year. Ever wondered why new btech branches comes every 3-4 years instead of every year, cuz they don't do masters or phd from same college and manage to get a job.

Why is the placement report for 24-25 and 25-26 not released still?
