I've been sharing alot of opinions on this subreddit, as I've been replaying the game recently.

But Wally is one of my favourites for sure.

​

A contender for my favourite base game Cuphead boss, but I'll have to get back to you on that.

Back when I first played it, it was easily my favourite.

​

But it's fallen down over the years. Not just with the DLC bosses introduced being so amazing, but with certain elements of the design getting worse for me.

Phase 1 is fine, nothing amazing.

Phase 3 and 4 are still stellar

​

It's just I don't like Phase 2, the Conductor. It's technically fair. I know you can avoid getting hit regardless of where the cart is. But I hate the Hitboxes in this Phase, and the pumpkins are the bane of my existence.

Its not even the hardest Phase of the fight, its just holds the boss back from true perfection.

Some people assume people vote Celestials and Wublins so they can get them for free. Admittedly thats true for some people.

Not me though. I'm a late game player, and I'd benefit from an Epic Repatillo or Rare or Epic Gadzooks a lot more.

But both Monsters are already on 4 islands, and we might get an Ethereal Gold Island so its possibly 5 for one of them.

Bona Petite is on 1 Island and we may never get him again. So I voted him.

Honestly she's one of my 5 least favourite Cuphead Bosses, and probably my least favourite full fight outside the DLC and Tutorial bosses.

The rng is just really frustrating, and I don't care for most of the minions.

The only part that's pretty great is the ending part, but the rest I don't love.

The design is great, and I love the character in the Cuphead Show. Her episode is great.

As for the Boss, I don't love it.

HnK is the only story that's made me cry from horror. I knew alot of the future developments coming later on, before I read the manga.

So when I did read the manga, the sheer dread I felt for Phos was suffocating. I kept asking "is where it goes wrong" so whenever I did reach points that were devastating, it'd hit me like a truck, like seeing the world burn down before my eyes.

That Phos pray scene in particular I read at 1am, and was left shivering in fear once I read it. The existential horror portrayed shook me to my core.

And once I reached the Invasion Arc, I felt nothing but dread for Phos, knowing what was going to happen.

And so when I reached that iconic panel, I was left speechless.

Full disclosure, I do actually really like Dan Da Dan. That one episode made me cry. I just don't think it's an amazing show overall.

Land of the Lustrous has amazing fan works. This ain't one.

But hey, it has some heart. I kinda like it.

I don't think we talk enough about how fun My Singing Monsters Playground.

Yes there's a limited amount of content, but me and my family have returned to it so many times.

We always have a blast playing it.
