I’m proud of y’all

Hi Everyone, I’m just reading through this sub and I want to tell you how proud of you I am. The world has definitely evolved and more and more women, couples and families are realizing we do not…need…..more….children. We have been brainwashed for so long. Wondering why this “dream” of having multiple kids feels like death because we’re constantly struggling to keep up with all the responsibilities that come with it. We were too afraid to say no. To afraid to “upset” strangers and society. Why bring more into this cruel world to suffer? Why put ourselves through mental breakdowns trying to please everyone else but ourselves? I’m proud of you all ❤️.

Hiring cleaning help?

I feel so silly. I’ve been going back and forth in my mind for 2 years about hiring a cleaning lady who will come in bi weekly to clean my house. Here’s the thing, my home isn’t even crazy dirty but for some reason I struggle with bringing myself to clean the bathrooms and kitchen routinely. It’s like I’ll do it, and it’ll be so nice and pretty but then a week or two goes by and I STRUGGLE to go back and do it all over again 😩. Any of y’all like this? It’s so bad that I can feel my chest tighten up lol.

Is it me or does there seem to be an uptick of scam jobs?

It’s insane and sad….they are getting pretty savvy at this. One even sent me a job offer on letterhead and emailed it for signature along with an I-9 and W4 form to fill out requesting me to send it back ALONG with my documents!! Lord!! 🫣✌️

I don’t think people regret having kids, I think they regret WHO they had them with?

What’s your take on this? I for one, have 1 child. And honestly, I don’t regret having her but I do wish I chose a better person to have her with. It would have made such a HUGE difference.

Be careful taking Boric Acid

To my ladies who have reoccurring BV be careful with boric acid. My ex Gynecologist told me it was safe to take but I started noticing it would make me bleed. I stopped taking it but now my period has been lasting 12 days instead of my usual 5 😟.

Edit: I’ve stopped taking it for over 6 months now and still no changes to my cycle.

How do I sue a debt collector?

Has anyone ever sued a debt collector and won? I had an 11 yr old cc debt that was charged off and fell off my credit report years ago. The company they sold the debt to has been calling family members AND my ex husband saying that they are looking for me to discuss a “civil matter” while giving out the street address I live on. Mind you….i was the only person listed on the debt. What action could I take??

How many of you actually put in your two weeks when leaving a job?

I’ve had many jobs in my career and honestly…..I’ve only given two weeks notice at 2 of them. All the other ones I left KNOWING I would never go back.

I quit my job 😮‍💨

It was remote , paid decent and good benefits but I only lasted a few weeks. There’s a certain way I learn things. I CANT be bombarded with info and once you teach me something YOU HAVE TO LEAVE ME ALONE TO PROCESS THE INFO. I spent so many hours on phone calls with my coworker that I started fizzling out. I kept reminding myself that “it’ll only be like this in the beginning” and once I learn it everything will be ok and I’ll stabilize. I need frequent mental breaks while digesting new information or else I’m going to make mistakes and that’s EXACTLY what happened. There were times where I snuck on at night just to complete the work under the radar because I knew no one was on or would call me (guys these unscheduled calls would last over 2 hrs). But I didn’t last….i quit. Im a bit sad but the feeling of the mental load being lifted outweighs it.

I can’t be stuck to my chair staring at a computer screen for 8 hrs either. We wouldn’t want our kids being on an iPad for more than an hour so why are we programmed to think this is normal?

I Quit J2

I quit J2 today. The health benefits were great and pay was decent but I was on calls 24/7 while being monitored. They wanted to know YOUR EVERY MOVE especially if you were coming back from break 5mins late. Was only there a few weeks and got a few paychecks under my belt but definitely could not keep up with the environment. Of course they were pissed but I’m not surprised. Kid you not these jobs are really out here thinking they own you and control your life…..think again ✌️.

Onto the next…

Salaried or hourly? Which do you prefer?

I’m on the edge of dropping J2. I’ve only been there a few weeks and training has been over calls dang near 24/7. They call me several times a day with no “hey do you have a min?” messages. These calls are lasting over 2 hrs and by the time I log off my brain is frazzled. Worse yet it’s an hourly gig and they’re set on the fact that the work has to be done during the business hours 😖 with no overtime.

I always prefer salaried work. This way I can catch up and work some evenings/weekends to ensure I’m producing.

Wegovy works!!

Hi there my lovely PCOS girlies just spreading some positivity and letting you guys know my daughter who has been on the medication along with metformin and spirolactone has lost 6lbs which is HUGE for us!!! So many nights has been spent crying and struggling. She started off at 281 and today at the doctors office weighed in at 275!! Can’t tell you how thankful we are after trying every single thing under the sun naturally.

Started metformin- April 2026 (didn’t see any weight changes)
Started Wegovy- June 14th. Weighed in at 275 as of today. AND her face looks less round and clearer!

I honestly do feel like the medications paired with each other helped.

When dating, why do ppl realize “they were the one” afterwards and not during?

Could it be summed up to nerves? Lack of experience? Totally different life paths? Once you both went your separate ways how long after did it hit you? And did you ever reach back out?
