Avoiding Tire Stretch?

I'm looking into a set of 17" 8j et33 wheels and wondering if 215's would give a squared off look? Some resources tell me ideal is 225's and some say ideal is 215's or even 205's.

I was originally thinking 215/45/r17 based on a few photos I've seen with the wheels I want.

Pulled the trigger

Mechanical is pretty much tidied up so now I'm onto suspension. I'm planning on swapping out control arms, tie rods, shocks, and springs. I thought now might be a good time to look into new wheels as well.

I'm thinking Gullideckel or AMG Aero style wheels. Any thoughts on offsets/tire sizes? I was thinking 17x8 ~et30-35 and 215/45's all around.

As for suspension, I've been reading a common combo is H&R springs + B8's. I'm worried they'd drop the car too low so I was considering adjustable height springs?

Different Headlamp Wiper Sizes?

Just picked up a 1994 E320 Coupe. I want to get wiper inserts and I’ve realized the wiper arms are different lengths. Was this original? All the photos I’ve seen online are with similar length arms.

I don’t mind the difference, I can swap them later when I have the budget if I really want them to be correct. But I don’t have a clue about the shorter arm and where to find a replacement wiper insert for it (it doesn’t currently have an insert on it, so I need something otherwise it’s just scratching my headlamp)

Note: I had cut power while the arm was operating which is why the arm is stuck in the up position.

Thoughts on this C124? 1994

140k. Single owner, looks like head gasket and wire harness has been replaced according to the history report (both done at the dealer).

[Product Request] how to treat these scabs from eating sidewalk?

Slammed into the sidewalk last Thursday. Main injury to my cheek has closed up nicely with a hydrocolloid bandage and I’m going to start using scar gel/spf tomorrow.

What do I do about these small brown scabs? They feel like small, slightly raised scabs.

I think I should just go shorter

Barber recommended to stop at an 8 clip and taper. Thoughts?

I was fortunate enough to pick this up back in 2014 while I was still in college for the unbelievable price of $7k. Sold my car at the time and dad helped with a loan of 2k.

Enjoyed it for a couple years, and along the way swapped out the old 2 barrel for a 4 barrel and better intake. Not really much else other than some minor repairs here/there.

School ended and life came fast. Between a career, traveling, and taking care of elderly parents, I eventually garaged it with the hopes of coming back to it someday. It’s been about 10 years now.

I visit my hometown weekly to take care of mom now that dad’s gone, and I’m starting to feel really motivated to get this fired back up. I’m turning 32 this year and it would be great to have this Firebird roadtrip ready (maybe 2-3 hr cruise).

I’m planning on an oil change, inspecting the fuel system (probably going to pull the fuel line and run a clean container of gas while I inspect the actual tank/lines), and slowly turn the motor by hand to make sure nothings seized up before actually attempting to fire up.

I’ve got another list of things to inspect before attempting to take it for a test drive, but would love y’all’s feedback on what else I should inspect.

I don’t have a lot of cash, so I’m doing all this myself. Any tips to save money while I get this road worthy would be appreciated 🙏
