Melbourne Park has moved to AXS for ticketing

Hello,
For those unaware, the Stadiums and Arenas that are part of Melbourne Park (Rod Laver Arena, Margaret Court Arena, John Cain Arena, and AAMI Park) are now all ticketed by AXS as of yesterday. This means that all new concerts and events at these arenas will be through AXS, and most existing events will be transferred to the new platform from Ticketek. Ticketek has a page that specifies how each event currently scheduled will be affected here: https://help.ticketek.com.au/hc/en-us/articles/61260423877401-Ticket-Delivery-Information-Melbourne-Park

Just thought this might be helpful to anyone who is going to concerts at these venues that might have missed it previously.

Robbie Williams will perform at the 2026 Lexus Melbourne Cup

Robbie Williams will perform twice at Flemington Racecourse for the 2026 Lexus Melbourne Cup on 3 November 2026. The First Performance will be a pre-race performance in the Mounting Yard ahead of the featured race. The Second Performance will be a full headline set after the last race on The Elms Live Stage presented by Maccas (presumably the festival version of the BRITPOP World Tour).

Frankenstein X'Trap now in service!

Terrible Photos, but the Frankenstein X'Trap is now in service!

This is probably one of the most unique trains on the network now. This three car consist is the remaining undamaged carriages from the Union E-Scooter Fire (897M-1649T) and the Clifton Hill Derailment (854M). What makes this even more unique is that 854M retains it's Aboriginal Livery, meaning the consist carries two different liveries.

I don't know what will happen to the other three carriages. I've heard 898M might be beyond repair and may never return to service, but that is not from any official source so don't take that seriously.

It's currently running on the Burnley Group, so keep an eye out!
