Looking for a story-focused AI roleplay app? Try Lizlis

If you’re looking for something beyond the usual one-on-one AI chat, check out  lizlis.ai

It’s focused on interactive stories and roleplay, with support for multiple characters in the same conversation, custom personas, branching storylines, and AI-generated character/story images.

What I like most is that it feels more like participating in a story than chatting with a single bot. You can create your own characters and scenarios or explore stories made by other users.

Available on Android, iOS, and web. If you’re into roleplay, fantasy, romance, or story-driven AI experiences, it might be worth trying.

How does DeepSeek V4 Pro compare to Flash?

I’ve been using DeepSeek V4 Flash recently and I’ve honestly been surprised by how decent it is, especially considering the cost.

I noticed DeepSeek also offers the Pro model, but it’s significantly more expensive.

For people who have spent a decent amount of time with both models, how much better is V4 Pro?

I spent the last year building an AI character chat app focused on memory and storytelling

Hi everyone,

Over the past year, I’ve been building an AI character chat app called  lizlis.ai

The original idea came from my frustration with many AI character apps losing context, forgetting important details, or breaking character during longer conversations. I wanted to build something that felt more like an evolving story than a series of disconnected chats.

Some of the things I’ve been focusing on:

  • Long-term character memory
  • Character creation with custom personalities, scenarios, and greetings
  • Storytelling and roleplay-focused conversations
  • Public and private characters
  • AI-generated images for characters and personas
  • Multi-language support
  • Ongoing story continuity across chats

My goal isn’t to compete with every AI chatbot out there. Instead, I’m trying to create a platform specifically for people who enjoy roleplay, storytelling, worldbuilding, and character-driven experiences.

The project is still evolving, and I’m constantly improving it based on user feedback.

If you’re interested, you can check it out here:

👉  lizlis.ai

I’d also love to hear from people who use AI character apps regularly:

  • What’s your biggest frustration with current AI character platforms?
  • What features do you wish existed?
  • What makes you keep using a particular AI character app?

I’m happy to answer questions about the development process, infrastructure, AI models, or lessons learned while building it.

Thanks for reading.

I built an AI story chat app where your choices actually change the scene

I’ve been working on an app called  lizlis.

It’s an AI character + story chat app focused more on interactive storytelling than just “ask an AI questions.”

You can:

  • chat with AI characters naturally
  • influence the direction of scenes through your replies
  • create your own characters and story worlds
  • generate images from story moments
  • play romance, fantasy, drama, mystery, slice-of-life, etc.
  • do open-ended roleplay instead of following a fixed script

One thing I wanted to avoid was the feeling that every conversation eventually collapses into repetitive chatbot responses.

So the app is designed around:

  • scene progression
  • relationship changes
  • multiple characters in one conversation
  • branching interactions
  • story-style pacing

You can play as yourself, create an OC, or just experiment with chaotic choices and see where the story goes.

The community has been using it for:

  • romance RP
  • fantasy adventures
  • anime-style stories
  • emotional/dramatic chats
  • character creation
  • sandbox roleplay

There’s both mobile and web support currently.

Would genuinely like feedback from people who are into:

  • CharacterAI
  • PolyBuzz
  • Talkie
  • visual novels
  • interactive fiction
  • AI roleplay

Website:  lizlis.ai

If anyone tests it, I’d especially like to know:

  • whether the characters feel emotionally consistent
  • if the story progression feels natural
  • where conversations start becoming repetitive
  • what features you think AI story apps are still missing

Lizlis, an AI story chat app where the characters actually interact with each other, not just with you

Been working on an AI-native story/chat app called  lizlis.ai

Most AI chat apps felt too much like “1:1 assistant conversations,” so I wanted something more like entering an actual story world.

In Lizlis:

  • You become part of the story
  • Multiple AI characters talk to each other naturally
  • Your messages/actions change the direction of the narrative
  • Stories can be romance, fantasy, drama, slice-of-life, etc.
  • Users can also create their own worlds and characters

A few recent updates:

  • New desktop UI redesign
  • Realistic image generation style in addition to anime style
  • Improved scene image generation with persona support

Some screenshots below.
Would genuinely like feedback from people here since many of you probably tried most AI chat/story apps already.
