Progress of our little garden (8 month later)
Had our garden redone last autumn and shared it here back then. Love seeing it come to life now in spring - can’t wait to see it in summer too.
Sorry for the mess.

Sorry for the mess.
I filled the rinse aid compartment with dishwasher soap by mistake. What’s the best way to clean it out before running the dishwasher again? Do I need to fully empty it or can I dilute it somehow?
I am in London, UK
It looks very pretty!
I’ve been posting the individual rooms over the past months, but thought I’d finally share a full walkthrough of the house together as one project.
A big goal of the renovation was making the interiors and garden feel connected and cohesive. We also redesigned the landscaping to match the atmosphere of the house - except for the wisteria, which has been here for over 20 years and inspired a lot of the overall vibe.
Not every room is fully finished yet (especially the living and dining rooms), but we’re getting there.
We wanted a small tree in a pot for the front of our house (south-facing and gets sun pretty much all day) and ended up falling for this little pomegranate.
I know fruiting isn’t guaranteed in the UK climate, but the flowers alone seem worth it in summer. Hoping the warm spot gives it a decent chance 🤞
Wish us luck!
We’ve just converted one of our spare bedrooms into a dressing room and are really happy with it so far. Storage is maximised with wardrobes built from IKEA carcasses but finished with custom doors and drawer fronts for a more built-in look.
One alcove wasn’t deep enough for another wardrobe, so we added open shelving instead. The room is small, so we colour-drenched it in a neutral- pink colour and, not yet finished, but the entrance door was removed and we will add a linen blue curtain instead. The patterned floor tiles are original to the house and stayed. All items (rug, lamp, door knobs) are vintage / Ebay.
Still a work in progress, but already feels like a much better use of the space.
