If I'm not hungry do I still eat as much?

I'm still fairly early into my recovery, only about 33 days but over the past few days my hunger has really subsided and I'm now full after breakfast, lunch and dinner with a fairly small/ medium portion of each and I no longer feel the need to snack. Do I still need to eat over maintenance or is it ok if I drop back down to 1,800?

Rate my day of eating (recovery)

For some backstory about me I'm 16, 5'2 female who's recovering from restricting since October 2025, I was VERY and I mean VERY active but limited myself to 1,400 cals in Average. I'm now aiming for 2,000-2,200 since dropping my active level down a bit but I'm still very much walking round a lot (10-16k steps) and doing lighter work at the gym.

Breakfast- 3 Weetabix with semi skimmed milk ~ 350 cals

Lunch- pink lady apple, 25g pistachios, ham sandwich, wafer bar ~ 590 cals

Snack- banana and Coco powder pancakes with a fried egg ~ 380 cals

Was still hungry so I had jam on toast and Nutella on chocolate chip brioche ~ 305 cals

Dinner- Curry (stock image as didn't take a photo but similar portion) ~ 600 cals maybe?

Can someone pls tell me if I'm eating enough/ the right stuff? I'm desperate to get my period back as I haven't had it since January

I've gained 2kg will it drop back down?

For some backstory I'm 16 5'2 female.

I've been restricting since about October 2025 only having 1,400 (on average) calories while being VERY and I mean VERY active and lost my period in January 2026. For 25 days I've upped my calories to around 2,200 and haven't been to the gym since starting to recover until today.

I used to be 54-55kg but when I stepped on it today I was 57kg (I always weigh in at the same time of day). Where has this come from, is it fat? And will it go back down, if so when?

I don't think I look bigger, especially round my stomach as that's my biggest insecurity although I know I'm not fat it's just bloat, which is HIGHLY annoying and I'm waiting for this to go down too but not sure to what extent it will go down.

Are the rolls normal?

Hi all, for some context I've been restricting since October 2025, lost my period in January 2026 and for the past 16 days have upped my calories from 1,400 while doing intense cardio, gym, and horse riding. I've now upped my calories to 1,900-2,300 to try and get my period back and have somewhat decreased my exercise, although I'm still naturally very active. I've noticed, however that suddenly my back seems to have produced 2 very distinct rolls, upper back just under my bra and then lower back, just around my waist. I'm not sure what this is, but I don't like it and it's making me restrict heavily again. Could it be water weight/ cortisol/ inflammation?

Was I ever in a deficit?

Am I doing the right thing?

I'm a 55kg 16 year old 5'2 in ED recovery as I haven't had my period is 120+ days and have been eating 1,400-1,600 calories since about November with the occasional binge eating 1,900 calories (probably once every other week). I never really saw weight loss, if anything I seemed to get softer, especially round my stomach and sides. I have been going to the gym 3-4 times a week since March, doing 10k steps a day and horse riding 1-2 times a week. I'm starting to eat 1,800-2,100 calories a day again. I'm extremely bloated all the time and worried I was actually never in a deficit but eating at maintenance which is why I never lost any body fat even though I did track very carefully. Will the bloat go away, will I gain weight, and was I actually in a deficit? I'm also worried that I have missed periods not because of my deficit but for some other reason (e.g higher testosterone)

I really need help getting my eating back on track to do the right thing and move forward healthy. I'm just so worried about the bloating and weight gain as I'm hesitant to believe I was ever in a proper deficit to begin with. Also unsure what and how often to be eating, currently eating every 3-4 hours

HELP TO RECOVER

Hiya, I've got a question. I'm 16 year old female 5'2. Ever since about October 2025 I've been in a deficit and I lost my period mid January this year. I noticed I have never lost any fat (which is what I wanted and the reason I started) even though getting 10k+ steps in a day, going to the gym 3-4 times a week and horse riding 1-2 times a week. I've reached my lowest point if I'm being totally honest and I'm mentally struggling eating over 1,400 calories as I'm STILL not losing any body fat. I'm starting to realise I need to up my calories for myself and to recover, but I'm scared it will make me gain weight and fat and then I'll fall into the cycle again. I really don't want this shitty relationship with food anymore but I already hate what I see in the mirror and I'm just worried it will get worse. Does anyone know how many calories I should be aiming for to get healthier again? Any advice/help/support would be really appreciated as I honestly don't know what to do anymore 🥰
