Mentorship
I've been working for a while and regularly mentor new staff and take students. I enjoy the process and I enjoy teaching. However, sometimes it feels like some new staff are asking for a mentor (which is a much easier process) vs others who are simply given one because they are a new hire.
For the later, I don't want these new therapists to see me as just 1 more CI after they've already jumped over all of the hurdles they need to for their license. I'm not their boss or their CI, but I doubt theyre also going to be honest with me and say they're not interested in a mentor. Its marketed as a 6 month process so I imagine in part they feel obliged to participate if corporate asks them to.
Has anyone else experienced this? How does one navigate being a successful mentor vs feeling like a CI?
PTCAS Applicant Numbers Reach Record High
Anyone surprised applications are still really high despite everything?
Also the subsequent two stories are fake. I just thought they belonged there.
How to turn off the annoying beeping?
When i get in the car I turn on the car and then buckle up. Yet the car just immediately starts with this loud beep just from sitting down without being buckled. I can maybe understand if it was while driving, but its while im in park...

Is there a way to disable this and the other annoying beeps?
