It's been awhile since I tried to do this, but can someone tell me how I can see the books that I ordered from BOTM? Doesn't matter if it's on the website or on the app.

I know I used to be able to see everything I ordered, what still needed to be rated and what I rated. I haven't ordered consistently lately so this wasn't something I paid attention to, but now I am trying to confirm I indeed purchased a certain book and I can't find where to check this.

Did they take that away or am I missing it?

I did check to see if I went into a book, if it would tell me if I ordered it already and it does not.

Any help is appreciated!

I just finished the movie and overall I enjoyed it. I know a book will never be faithfully adapted, and I could understand the changes from a viewing POV (for those who would not read the book, the changes make things more interesting even if they aren’t faithful to the book).

My only/biggest issue with the movie is the end. The book has Olive ending things and then admitting to Adam what happened with Tom. The movie has Adam be the bad guy, basically ghosting Olive after they sleep together because he thinks she’s moving to MA and his whole moving to Harvard is scratched.

There was no reason to make Adam a bad guy at the end, but him ignoring Olive effectively makes him a bad guy. I don’t know why they did that.

Overall I liked it but that part is the only thing that annoys me. I wouldn’t say it’s a bad movie because of it, I just wish they’d be more careful with Adam’s character and showed his vulnerability more like they did in the book.

I am looking to buy a new phone and am flip flopping between an iPhone 17 and a 17E.

For most of the differences, I am ok with what the 17E offers. I actually prefer the slightly smaller size and the screen difference doesn't bother me that much--and definitely not for the extra $.

The only thing I am stuck on is the camera. I take a lot of pictures of daily life, family, etc. I am VERY FAR from a photographer, just like cataloging memories as much as possible so generally extra features don't mean that much to me. I never really thought about the ultra wide camera much until I went to the store and tested out the 17E. For those of you that went from having the ultra wide on their previous phones to now having the 17E, have you noticed not having this feature? Do you miss it? Are there instances where you would have used it if it were available?

With the rumors of price increases I really wanted to order ASAP, otherwise I'd walk around more with the 13 and see how much I use the .5x feature. As is, hoping you all can help me figure out whether it's worth the extra $$ for me with your experiences.

Currently have the iPhone 13 mini. Love the size, but battery health is at 77% and I've used up the majority (95%) of my storage. I could try to clean up some apps, etc. a bit more than I have to help the storage issue. This is my only phone (so it has to function for me) and use it for basic things like SM, web browsing, etc.

I could replace the battery or I can trade it in and get the 17E. My budget doesn't really allow for anything higher than that.

On one had, I don't want to unnecessarily spend extra money if there is a decent alternative. If a battery fixes most of my issues and the phone iOS will be updated it might not be worth it.

On the other, between depreciating value on my trade in and rumors of price increases, I'm debating whether it makes sense to upgrade now to avoid a higher cost and a need to upgrade in like a year when updates might be shut off for my model.

I'd love some advice...I've been back and forth a lot over the past few days and just can't decide.

Won't lie, the fact that I have to buy all new chargers, etc. for the phone doesn't help but that's neither here nor there, just venting on that one.

For those who have been to shows on this tour, can you share what the start time was on your ticket vs what time they started playing? Setlist fm only shows what time they start and when doors open (which varies widely by location).

Im taking my nephew next week and I’m trying to plan/need to tell his parents when to expect him home.

Can anyone confirm if the prices for merch are the same as their website, or can you share what you paid for some of the things that you purchased during this tour? Tees, posters, any other cool things they may have had that I can't think of...

I'm taking someone to a concert in a few weeks and want to budget appropriately for what we might want. It would be super helpful to know ahead of time so I don't bug out at the prices when I'm there.

I used to have the nicest neighbor until he sold his home to people who chose to use the home as an investment property and rent it out.

The people who rented it…

To start, I cannot tell you who actually lives there. It’s a 3 bedroom home and I think at least 4-6 kids live in the home? Possibly 4-6 adults. Then rotating people here and there. There are new cars/people coming and going at all hours. Why does this matter? I don’t actually really know who my neighbors are, who’s renting the house.

They do things around the house at night almost exclusively. I’ve seen them carrying in drywall at 11pm. Garbage is dumped and sorted at midnight (they keep their bins right under my bedroom window). Multiple bins of glass bottles being dumped and sorted (mostly beer) in the middle of the night.

They don’t have lids on the outside garbage and it gets all over the place. I am constantly cleaning my yard because of their garbage. They store food in an outdoor shed that has no closing doors. I’ve seen them butcher meat on the cement steps in their yard and leave whatever is cut off there (one window directly overlooks their yard) and dump something smelly outside. I’m terrified I will get mice.

Their children and the ones that visit have taken to kicking soccer and basketballs at my fence. They’ve already broken one slat. When I asked them to stop I got blank looks and then an hour later they were doing it again.

The new thing is nightly bbqs. Last week’s was in Sunday, started at 8pm. My town has a noise ordinance that’s starts at 10pm. I tried to be patient and they went in at 11pm. Ok.

This Friday’s started at 10pm. It’s 11pm. Screaming kids, blasting radio. I don’t want to be an asshole and call the cops, but at the same time, who does this??

Really not sure what to do. This cannot become a weekly thing…my nerves won’t take it. Quite honestly, I’m also afraid if I say/do anything there would be retribution. They are not Do I call and report the noise or suck it up and just be miserable?

I look forward to any ideas anyone wants to throw out there for this one because I am stumped.

The gift is for a man who's graduated with his master's degree. Late 20s. Still lives at home with no immediate plans to move. No job yet, uncertain what exact path they will take career wise, but likely will not be a traditional office job so a lot of the ideas that might go with that may not really fit. Has very little wants or needs since they live at home. I don't think they drink. I will be traveling to give the gift so cannot get anything local to them or me. They tend to have higher end tastes in things (even though that doesn't necessarily fit my budget).

Would like to spend around $50, no more than $100 though.

I just saw that someone asked this about what to get a girl for their 8th grade graduation...I have to buy for a boy and I've been wracking my brain for weeks with little luck so hoping you kind strangers can help!

It's for a close family member, 8th grade graduation is a thing here(no middle school and it's a big ceremony). I was really trying to avoid giving money--he's too young to go out and honestly doesn't want a lot of things so he doesn't shop. He basically plays video games (usually the same ones), wears the same things, eats, sleeps. When I ask what he wants he says "I don't know".

Any ideas or things you've done in the past for a teen boy that's hard to shop for. Max spend is around $100. I appreciate any ideas you can give. His big day this week and I'm stressing what to do.

Can anyone advise where to go for a garage sale permit?

One place on the website says city clerk, one says police dept.

Tried calling the city clerk and the number wasn't set up.

Tried emailing and they haven't gotten back to me.

Also, if you know how long the turnaround between getting the permit and when they allow you to have the sale, I'm grateful for the info.
