Petition to make a triple date moonphase like vintage omega cosmic, with miyota 6p80 movement.

If you checkout vintage watches, you will find a plethora of triple calendar moonphase watches with incredible design language. Almost all of the brands at that time used the same layout and similar movements ( from valjoux/ lemania). But currently there are only few brands that makes watches in this layout. And those are luxury brands like JLC. Raymond Weil has one that is less than half the price of other luxury brands examples, but it is still an expensive watch.

Coming to the affordable market we have to settle with quartz movements. But still the number of brands using this complication is little to none. There are some vintage or neo vintage longines watches that uses a quartz calibre, but that's it.

But I happened to see a japanese brand called jpw that has a watch with miyota 6p80 movement. Upon further research i have found some vintage citizens that has this movement. And some other chinese watches that are just blancpain clomages. But that's it. You can find other examples with triple date moonphase complications like Timex marlin moonphase, which uses 6p00 movement. But those have hands for displaying day and month, which 6p80 has discs for day and month display similar to vintage designs.

JPW 002 is good but I think these watches lack the classic look of the vintage designs and I think more brands should use this movement to make some classic models.

Brands like Baltany are well known for releasing vintage-inspired field and dress watches, and their pie-pan designs are arguably even better than those of the modern Omega Constellation watches, as they do greater justice to the vintage pie-pan aesthetic. I think they should make triple-calendar moonphase watches with classic designs. They could do so without copying any particular brand, since these design elements were widely used by many Swiss watchmakers of the era, including Rolex.

It is great to see Indian brands like DWC gaining global recognition with models like terra, and I think if they utilise rarerly used movement like this, they can create their own space in international market with unique watches. I think the only problem with using these movements is that it is hard to get in bulk. But for limited production models, these are incredible.

Petition to make a 36mm version with eta HAQ movement

It will be incredible if they released a haq version with Mandarin dial

I think SWC should change the date window to 6 o'clock instead of 3 o'clock position.

Also despite the watch being small on paper, it's thin profile and all dial design makes it look bigger. So they should make a 36mm variant and if possible use a solar movement.

Vk67 movement is underutilized when compared to vk63/64 because of its subdial configuration. But it is one of the only affordable mechaquartz movement with a 12 hour totalizer.

I am a huge fan of HMT Pilot. Always thought that Pilot has a unique look and the design is underutilized by the brand. So I have AI generated a concept design of Pilot GMT.

The bezel and case used here is of Glycine Airman. Text has been changed in assumption that the movement will be miyota 9075. There are some design flaws and inconsistencies as I only did it for fun.

What do you guys think about it?
