Thoughts on less lethal?

For context I carry a firearm whenever I'm not at work, as my job doesn't allow them, but I am shit scared I would ever have to use it. Although lets say I am in conflict at some point, may that be at work or if I'm out with the gun on me. I live in a "duty to retreat" state and have no problem running away if need be as apposed to shooting someone and having to prove my innocence. Also the law in my state says you must match the level of threat in order to "legally" defend yourself. So what do y'all think about less lethal options? Tasers and OC spray/gel stuff like that. On it's surface it doesn't sound like a bad idea to carry lethal and less lethal because lets say I'm in a conflict where I can't get away, if someone is charging at me with a knife or god forbid they have a gun I'm gonna shoot them, but if they are trying to fight me, I don't wanna kill them nor do I think it would hold up in court. Not asking for recommendations, just what y'all think.

Automation/Resource Management Game Suggestions

Looking for a factory builder with satisfying gameplay, something like Satisfactory or Factorio. Something I really like about Factorio (and would be a must for suggestions) is the mapwide war with the bugs. Prepping defenses, weapons, tanks, nukes etc... If Satisfactory had mechanics like that I’d honestly stick with that game. But sadly the enemies are an afterthought. Not sure if a game like this other than Factorio even exists, hope someone can help!

Long post, sorry...

My experience with Weed:

I was about 16 when I first smoked weed (flower) and didn't feel anything at all really (I'm told this is normal) the second time maybe a few months later I smoked a cart and had a 5mg edible (I'm aware carts and edibles are much stronger) and didn't feel too much of anything, about an hour or two later I ripped the cart like it was a vape. One hit after another and long story short I was having a panic attack, shaking, vibrating, spinning, thought I was dying, thought I'm never gonna be okay again, the whole nine yards. Every experience after that I had the same reaction most were carts but the one time that wasn't a cart it was flower and I smoked a whole joint so obviously way to much in all situations. At this point I was in my junior year and I honestly believe I was on the edge of psychosis, depersonalization/derealization for months on end (without weed of any kind) May sound crazy but that was how it was for me. Those feelings subsided after a while I'm fine now. About 5 or so months ago I tried it again also a cart, this time I was taking it easier and taking a hit and leaving it for an hour or more, for the most part it wasn't too bad, but I guess I got overconfident and took two rips off it and felt myself start tweaking a little and laid down for a while and I was fine afterwards, I haven't picked up weed since.

Now:

I will be 21 at the end of May, I want to try it again for real and not be naive and take too much like in the past, this time I plan to do it right and get a indica or indica dominant strain and take a hit and put it out and gauge how I feel, if I feel like I can do more I can always spark up again. However on 4 dispensary websites in my area I can't seem to find anything lower than 18% THC. I understand that weed has risen in potency over the years and it's hard to find lower ones, One of my coworkers recommended for my situation, Robusta by Simply Herb (flower), it's an indica dominant hybrid 55% indica and 45% sativa, 20.56% THC. I imagine if I take it slow and be smart I will be okay.

If anyone else has recommendations for someone in my situation, or if you have had a similar experience, or if you simply think weed is not for me. I'm all ears, lets have a conversation down below. Thanks!
