Modding/Modpack for first playthrough?
Hello,
I have never played Oblivion. not the original, and not the remaster. IM not one for enjoying dated games, with minor exceptions.
But now that an Oblivion remaster has been released, I am very open to playing it. However, the more I research the game, the more I see that it has performance and bug issues. So I though that perhaps I can just put some mods in there, as I am modding skyrim like a madman anyway.
But as I mentioned, I have never played Oblivion, and I only have so much time in the week, so I think I will just commit to a precompiled modpack. And I have found a list that seems to fit what I like, I think. However, seems that they vary in size and features, so I'd liek to ask for some reviews and small previews on what I get from them, and if they fit what I'm looking for.
What I AM looking for is a maximally deep, hardcore but balanced and IMMERSIVE RPG experience, that still has the original games charm and quirks. Good graphics, QoL, better audio and animations are a very good bonus to have.
This is the list I've compiled- mby some of you can tell me which would be the best fit:
- Echoes of Oblivion - A True RPG
- Dansq's Most-Endorsed & Filtered
- Ultimate Oblivion
- Midas' New Game+ Essentials
They vary by size, and I assume stability, so a balanced choice would be best. however, my rig is good enough for whatever. Skyrim has proven that.
