Before this reference existed, master watchmaker Hajime Asaoka was famous for creating ultra-high-end, handmade haute horlogerie pieces that cost tens of thousands of dollars and came with multi-year waiting lists.

Asaoka famously lamented that his bespoke workshop watches took so long to build that he did not even have one to wear himself. He desired a well-made, beautifully designed everyday watch that regular enthusiasts could actually purchase and enjoy. This led him to create a parallel brand, initially launching in Japan as Chrono Tokyo in April 2018

I have hunted the chrono tic tac collaboration, I got 2 direct from Japan but this one had eluded me . Either only 25 or 50 ever made dependant on different articles .I don't think it has ever sold out of Japan . 3 weeks ago in one day ,I broke up with my girlfriend , fired my personal trainer (who I am pretty sure I am in love with but she doesn't reciprocate ) but then found this . Only worn 3 times , box and papers . I called that day a big win 😂

Runs perfectly ,looks great ,66 years old . I am a lot younger and pull a hamstring if I stand up too quickly . Time is indeed a cruel mistress.
