I went up to the rail for the first time Saturday. There is no going back.
Ive always been shy and socially anxious at raves. Hiding in the back. Got to see Slander on Saturday and got there way earlier than expected, idk what i was thinking but I said fuck it and grabbed the rail all night.
Omfg im amazed we didn't tear the rail down. I head banged so hard and it was unlike anything I ever experienced at a rave. Idk but I think from now on, im gonna be a rail rider. That was intense and fun.
Best weekend ive had in a long time.

This experience has been incredibly disappointing so far. When I signed up I got email saying I would get a Welcome Packet as part of signing up. Months later, I got a card (without a name) in a basic commercial envelope with nothing in it except the card. It does not have my name or anything on it. I don’t even know what it’s supposed to be used for? I thought I was getting merch or something. Then, I got an email on May 1 that my EDC tickets shipped, but the tracking still says “Label created.” It’s cutting it really close. This all seems really scam-y to me.
