Best fixed interest in UAE
Hello. I have a Mashreq Neo Plus account which gives me an outstanding 6.25% interest on my savings account.
I’m planning to leave UAE in the next 6 months. I would like to ask if anybody knows any Bank or account that maintains a very high interest so that I can keep my money in and continue getting a small passive income.
I’m not interested in getting advices about forms of investments that are not guaranteed because I need the cash amount for studies. As the instalments will be partial in the next 2 years, I would love it if I could have a fixed passive income on my remaining cash until it all goes away.
I’m from Greece which is an EU country and I’m planing to study in Greece in 2027 if it helps. Thank you.

Just out of the box and ready to go! GMW-B5000D
I was looking at this watch for a long time. Found a good deal and got it. 7-inch wrist and feels just right. I think it’s a perfect daily driver.
Quick review:
Bluetooth Sync works perfectly. You don’t even need to have it on AUTO SYNC. It can be as simple as pressing the right bottom button and it syncs time with your phone in 2-3 seconds. I think syncing 4 times a day is an overkill for an already incredibly accurate watch.
Alarm beep is something I wouldn’t rely on. Even my 15-dollar w-217h sounds louder.
I was surprised that you can set reminders on the watch. The watch can notify you on the date you set and also repeat on a weekly, monthly, yearly basis.
The buttons are waaaay more easier to press than my GW-5000U. They have a bigger surface and more protruded.
Screen doesn’t show any ghosting on any angle unlike my GW-5000U. Finally a g shock that is nice to wear on your left wrist. No more 88:88:88 screens.
Love the fact that you can have 2 time zones on the same screen.
Phone finder works perfectly.
People say that it feels heavy but I’ve been wearing a citizen diver’s watch for the last decade so I’m used to heavy watches. Didn’t feel foreign to me. Definitely something you don’t wanna go for a run with though.
I think I’m gonna stay with this for years.
