I am a PCB student , I got less marks in reneet to get a mbbs college but I can get top pvt bams, so I have to choose btw Pvt BAMS AND LPU btech in biotechnology.

So please I want ur help I am already 2 yr dropper.

I want to know the placements:-

1.The real placements for btech biotechnology.

2. The total expense approx for the 4 yr duration.

3.Is btech biotechnology a stable and high ceiling job for future?

If u guys have any other course suggestion please tell, I will forever be grateful!!

How many of u guys have uploaded the certificate wrongly, and therefore didn't get alloted even after clearing cutoffs.

There are three cases:-

1. Uploaded a certificate valid for the period before 1Apr 2026.

2. Uploaded State EWS certificate.

3. Did not upload the certificate, but uploaded the self declaration.

I mean I understand they are taking time for saf payment methods and all but atleast a pdf can be released till than.

So I have heard abt the incidents that are taking place at tpt from one of the posts, and it stated that the tpt campus is quiet away from the main city but is it better compared to bpr cause at my rank , I can get both so please can anyone compare both the campuses on the basis of:-

1. Locality

2. Mess

3.Hostel Rooms

4.Sports facility

5.How are the faculties?

6.College life(fest/tournaments)

We all knw Jac counselling portal glitch and most important the document submission portal opened very late , so in previous years were they on point for counselling or were late to declare the respective round results?

I have uploaded the pdf of two pages first page has state ews and second page has central ews now will this make me general candidate cause if the official fails to read second page and only see first page has anyone from mp did that before cause here we get the pdf like this only.

Now that I have got my ews cat rank also and like will they ask us to upload the docs again, so that I can remove thr state ews page and only upload the central ews one when we get alloted the college do they give us upload window to upload again? So will the doc upload window open again or I am just worrying for no reason.

So the title was to attract all ews candidates who are serious about IISERs.

I would like you all to comment down ur ews category ranks it will be beneficial for all of us so please, and by tmrw we can come up with some figures.

I know the fees strucutre of both the iiser but are there any hidden costs too and if than please tell me also as an ews candidate, is it actually very hard on our pocket cause how I calculated it certainly is please anyone who knows pls tell abt the expense and fees we have to pay at bpr and tpt respectively so that i can make up my mind in advance.

We all know that 37-42k is very minimal stipend,on top of that we are coming from rigorous study from a 5 yr dual degree shouldn't we ask the govt to increase the stipend to 80k atleast cause we deserve that and all these govt. advertisement budget is no where close they are spending so much on things like banner and what not so what we are demanding can make atleast the future of research in India better and less people may go for Phd Abroad, which will avoid brain drain from our country.

I just uploaded the same pdf i got from lok seva for IAT the thing is that in MP the ews certificate if applied for central and state they give 2 page pdf first page has hindi state govt format, second is in english central govt format.

So my question is can they put me in genral if they not go through both pages cause first one has state format and did this happen with anyone else?

Do JAC provide the no. Of candidates registered for counselling and also category wise how many candidates registered like that would make us all a lil more aware.

This post ain't hopium but I analysed the cutoff is decreased for IIT M, I knw 24 new seats got added in bs ms chem so the main thing is

We knw that in IISER overall 20 seats got reduced among all 7 IISERs, in 2025 the seat matrix for IISER was 2363 and for ts yr 2026 its 2343 so 20 seats got reduced. Now what I am tryna discuss is that the seats increased in IACS, IIEST AND IIT Guwahati but will ts make the cutoff to actually decrease like there was a big jump in 2024 to 2025 purely in IISERs and no one was expecting cutoffs to go so low. This yr if anyone who has good critical thinking can suggest the cutoff closing rank would either go up or down can please comment.

See we all know money is one of the most important aspect of life atleast everyone after such a great degree bs ms from IISER everyone wants to be stable I want to know does anyone know some of the alumini or are currently studying that If someone does Phd do we have job other than professorship something R&D type and also like if directly after bs ms someone wants to pursue a job what are the odds??

One more thing, I would like to add is that some IISER like Pune and Bhopal are better in terms of placement or in coming five yrs they'll get even better at placements and other can reach atleast at their current evel?

I have searched abt the earning path and trajectories last yr some of the alumini told that u have to know that IISER becomes nothing after phd its ur phd university that will matter and one more thing they added was that u can't accept a decent luxury life u will live very mediocre is it true and if so why we worked so hard for this?

I wanted to seriously knw what is the earning after bs ms like there are three possibilities

1. Get a Phd in India

2. Get a Phd abroad

3. Getting a Job in India just after Bs Ms

4. Getting a Job after Phd In India

5. Getting a Job after Phd abroad

So i want to know like is it even sufficient as the only earner in a family at that point of life.
