(Kind of an extreme question) why do vegans eat vegetarian meat?

This only for vegans who are vegans because they view eating animals as wrong. Which I’m sure is most, if not all vegans. Anyhow it just makes no sense to me as to why you would want to eat something that looks like what you are against? To me it’s like someone saying they are not a pedophile but they only go for people who are freshly 18.

The answers I have seen from vegans are usually because they like meat but hate how meat is prepared for us. That answer makes no sense to me.

Anyone else feel like their eyes completely ruins their aim?

Even with 240 fps on comp games, I can’t track well. It feels I’m tracking people at 10 fps. I use protection for eye straining and being normally close to my monitor like eye lubricants and blue light glasses so I don’t have eye strain. I don’t think it’s eye strain, it’s just my perception or something that is slower than my monitors hz. I don’t have validity in saying that because I don’t know the science behind it but it really feels like my perception of tracking things is slower then 240 hz.

Why does subnautica literally not work with my quest?

I feel like I’m tripping because It’s on the vr titles on steam, it also launches with vr mode like I can look around and stuff. But the controller for my quest does not work at all with this game. W

Why does virtual desktop all of a sudden say my WiFi is at 5ghz and runs at 1200 Mbps? I have 6ghz or 6e I believe.

I looked it up and it said it’s because the quest is now running on a separate channel or something. The other 5ghz channel. It said to change it you have to got to type the address on the router and the username and password and change the channel in WiFi settings. I have quantum fiber and they don’t have this option to change it on their site.

So far I don’t actually see any noticeable lag or latency from it because I am keeping the same exact settings. Before I had copper wire internet and it was at 5ghz and 1200 Mbps but it had terrible latency.

So is this a visual glitch? because I can’t notice any latency between it saying it’s at 5ghz vs when i got my new internet and it said it was at 6ghz with 2400 Mbps. Or is the quest actually on a separate channel?

Does the steam controller work with games that only use the Xbox controller and the ps4 controller?

I have old call of duties like black ops 3 and infinite warfare where you can’t use a ps5 controller at all. I’m wondering if this is the same for the steam controller since it’s new?

Why do people crap on quantum fiber?

My last internet provider was century link and it was a copper cable. Got 1g for $85 (mom pays for this) and it ran more at 500-800 most of the time for download speeds. Anyways just switched to quantum fiber today for 2g and that is $70. My download speeds are running at 2.3-2.5g now and internet is amazing. Takes me less than a minute to download a 10 gb game. Takes me less than 15 minutes to do 100gb.

I also had issues with gaming on vr with my prior internet, couldn’t get it to run at a max bitrate of 200mbps and the highest visual settings without 500ms of latency. Now I can do all of that with about 20 -30 ms of latency.

So, did a lot of people get unlucky with how their internet performs? Is it that one viral video about a fire starting because of the modem? Is it pricing (even though our pricing is good for us)?

Edit: if this seems worded weirdly for you guys, it’s because I’m trying to avoid the post being taken down due to a certain rule

This is the first time I’ve ever had these dream experiences in my life. It’s been two weeks post surgery and I’m starting to think it’s being accompanied by lucid dreaming as well because last night I was very aware of the fact that I was basically peeing myself in my dream. This has happened twice in the same week and I also sometimes leak after peeing. It’s like droplets but thick droplets you know.

Anyways the first dream wasn’t even a dream really, I was on the verge of waking up and staying asleep, I felt like I had to pee really bad but didn’t want to get up so I just peed right there. I wake up then and look in my pants and well it’s covered in you know.

This morning I actually had a dream and it was just a really basic normal real life experience dream. Like I was just chilling in my room. My mom left the house and I haven’t done anything in awhile so I want to release it. I have to pee really bad however and so bad that I try to hold it but can’t so I start peeing a bit and I told myself, “wake up your peeing yourself” so I woke myself up and was like dang I’m covered in you know again.

I’m starting to get a little worried because I mostly got my quest 3 for steam vr. I want to play those over the quest games that actually work perfectly fine and look good. Steam vr for me only works well when I have automatic bit rate on in virtual desktop. If I adjust it at all, steam vr gains a shit load of latency. Also visual quality is always shit in games. I have only tried two games so far on steam vr and that’s the forest and megaton rainfall. They both look absolutely terrible even at highest settings. I’m gonna be let down a lot and feel like I wasted money if this is how the steam vr experience is.

I know for a fact it’s steam vr and nothing else. I have tried meta link and that one works buttery smooth. I want to use virtual desktop though but I just can’t use steam vr on it. The latency is so bad that it’s just unplayable. My network is great and my WiFi is good. So nothing is wrong with that. It’s just specifically steam vr
