What’s it like living in these areas?

Pink: Creekshire
Yellow: Chimneystone, Settler’s Park, Settler’s Grove
Blue: Lakefield

I saw a post here not too long ago asking what it’s like living in different areas of Sugar Land and it got a lot of helpful responses. My family and I are thinking of relocating as well and was wondering what it’s like living in these specific areas. The houses seem old but in our budget and the location would be better for my family in regard to work and school. How is it during hurricane season? Any issues with HOAs or anything just to be aware about? Are people here festive (lots of trick or treating/Christmas decor)?

Which Neighborhoods Go All Out for the Holidays?

I moved to Richmond not too long ago and am renting while I take my time looking for a house. Since I’m still pretty new to the area, I’d love to get some local recommendations!

Are there any neighborhoods that are known for really going all out for Halloween and Christmas? I absolutely love decorating outdoors, but in my current neighborhood I seem to be the only one who does.

It’s definitely not a deal breaker when choosing a neighborhood, but I’d love to live somewhere with others who enjoy decorating as much as I do. Bonus points if there’s a little friendly competition each holiday!

Spa World or Gangnam Spa?

Which would you recommend? I’m trying to decide which one to go to for an anniversary trip. I read the Google reviews and both seem to be a hit or miss.

Japanese American name suggestions

I’m half Japanese half Caucasian. My husband is Japanese. We live in America. I only speak English and know a little Japanese. My husband can speak both fluently. Baby (unknown gender) will be raised in America. I’m searching for boy and girl names that could work both ways such as:

Emma
Amy
Natasha
Hannah
Naomi
Erica
Nina
Sara
Anna
Karen
Ken

I’m not a fan of the ones I’ve googled like those and was wondering if anyone else had good suggestions please.

I don’t have anyone to talk to about this show

None of my friends or my husband watch TADC, so it’s always been something I’ve enjoyed on my own. I’ve been following it since the pilot because I loved how unique and mysterious it was. I never bought any merch or really discussed it with anyone, I just quietly looked forward to each new episode.

I ended up going to the theater by myself to watch the finale. Overall, I thought it was a fitting ending, even though I was sad to see Jax abstract.

I knew he had been getting closer to that point throughout the series, but I honestly expected Pomni to somehow save him. The Stevie Wonder song also threw me off. It’s such an upbeat, happy song that I thought it was hinting at a last-minute rescue or recovery. Obviously, that wasn’t the case.

I’ll admit I was also pretty confused when the brain scans were revealed. At first, I wasn’t sure what I was supposed to take away from it, but once they explained how the Digital Circus came to exist, everything started to make sense.

What really got to me was how Jax treated Ribbit after his past was revealed. It felt like he was retreating further into himself, putting up more emotional walls and convincing himself that none of it was real. Almost like denying the reality of his situation was the only way he could keep going without abstracting.

I thought the final scenes were sweet, though. Part of me still hopes the group eventually finds a way to bring back the people who abstracted.

Thanks for reading my thoughts.

Is this a steal?

I’ve recently been looking to purchase a robot lawn mower for my small backyard that grows grass like no tomorrow. Does anyone have this model and recommends it?
