2024 Ranger Rework + 3 Subclasses.

Hi everyone, this is my first time posting as I only found this amazingly creative community recently. I just wanted to share my self indulgent interpretation of the Ranger Class, as a whole it remains largely unchanged - a few features got moved to some earlier level, some got combined into a single feature, and the 20th-level capstone feature was completely swapped out.

The biggest change I made was moving Primal Companion from the Beast Master subclass into the core features as I've always somewhat seen the Ranger class to be the "Pet" on top of being the flexible role filler class. In doing do I've also altered the subclasses (the three that are included are; Beast Master, Fey Wanderer, and Gloom Stalker) slightly, now when you chose your subclass you get at least 3 features, two of which alter how Hunter's Mark works or gives you something else to spend a use of Favoured Enemy on, and a feature that influences what your Primal Companion can do.

I'm happy to answer all the questions I can and obviously I'm happy to hear any feedback as this was made from me and my Ranger players scattered notes after we wrapped up our most recent campaign haha.

Thank you in advance for any insight.

Found this gemstone pawn that I thought would make a great minimalist PC mini. What kind of simple game pieces do folks like to use?

Looking for a writing partner to help me achieve my goal of publishing a short D&D adventure by the end of the year

I [29M] have a deep love for TTRPG's - especially 5e - after a long long time brainstorming I finally settled on an idea I'd like to try and publish. However since I was a child I have always struggled with long form writing and translating my thoughts on to the page, so I'm looking for someone with experience in the TTRPG field to help me achieve my goal, and hopefully help improve my writing skills along the way

Now that we know the game is officially coming back this year. If they were to release a new season of the cartoon, what plot points would you like to see?

Personally I want to see the other members of the core group fight a codemaster (instead of the short flashback clips we got when Tom asked them about their experiences) and it be a specticle.
