Not %100 sure if this post is allowed here but idk where else to post it, but its strange to me that finding even just archives of the assets (sound effects, music, icons/buttons etc) from dvd menus is all but impossible. I've been able to find somewhere out on the internet just about any kind of archived data possible, aside from dvd menus. And its not because nobody remembers them, because I semi-regularly see post on places like r/dvdcollection and the like about how nostalgic these menus are and yet it seems that they aren't archived outside of the dvd proper if its still in circulation, or low quality pictures taken with a phone camera in 2008. Am I just not looking in the right places?

That is how I feel when I hear Domino's snapping. It's made me want to do nothing except resolve never to buy from them, ever. Chinese water torture doesn't build good will.

When you've spent years and years making AI images, AI videos, AI music and AI text, you gain an eye for it. You "can always tell" AI from human media.

Antis can't. Why is that? Because they go out of their way to avoid AI. And their Dunning-Kruger effect ensures countless false positives for them.

When you seek out and gain hands-on experience with AI, like we do, you get a feel for what the technology can do and how far it's gone.

When you encase yourself in an echo chamber and feed each other misinformation and negative propaganda, you don't!

It's too simple to just say "These massive companies are laying everyone off so they can replace them with AI and rake in profits!"

If Microsoft, for example, laid off half its workforce, that's enough to build a rival company. It's not in corporate interests to get rid of people for any reason.

No, here's the reason why they're laying people off; the companies are dying. Just look up "did not meet sales expectations" to see how extensive the problem is.

They know AI will have decimated every institution by 2030, and the companies are desperate to stave it off. They can't. Capitalism, corporatism, poverty... all of this will come to an end soon.

Before 2022, there was an implicit assumption that it was always clear what text was written by humans and what was written by bots. Spambots and scambots were ignored and filtered away. Photoshops were garish, egregious, and easy to spot. Faked video was so obviously fake it wasn't funny.

And to top all this off, there was a Just World Fallacy: "The only people who fall for scams are elderly people! I'm a good person! I can always tell!"

Now, that paradigm is in pieces on the floor.

We are so far past the Turing Test it's not even funny. No one can tell if the other person is human or AI. AI-generated images are indistinguishable from real images. Faked video needs watermarks to let us know it's fake. As we approach 2030, this will get worse and worse. No Internet user will be trusted. This breaks our illusion that screens can be trusted and only fools fall for scams.

It will force us to look to the real world and what we can physically see to get our truths. It will awaken us to a lifetime of astroturfing, federal agents, advertisements, and foreign agents.

There is very clearly a concerted effort to suppress our critical thinking and higher-order reasoning skills.

Do you distrust the government or suspect a corporation of some ulterior motive? You're a "schizo".

Do you notice some obvious parallels between some work of media and some esoteric or occult tradition? You're a "schizo".

Do you notice that all the signs in a certain industry point to imminent disaster and try to warn people? You're a "schizo".

According to this logic, criminal investigators, historians and scientists would all be "schizos".

Calling people "schizo" plays on existing stigmas our society has towards the mentally ill to effectively blacklist the intelligent. It makes them feel guilty for simply refusing to be an unthinking sheep. Most ironically of all, schizophrenia refers to disordered thinking, not complex thinking.
