Need help with decision

I’m going to purchase a watch for a young man just starting out in his career. He has a nice dark blue, stainless bracelet, Citizen Eco Drive for dress/suits. I want to stay around $100, give or take. His wrist is 7”. It will be an everyday type of watch so I thought a black dial would go with anything. These are the ones that I like and think they suit his taste. Any advice on quality or experiences with these or suggestions of others to consider would be greatly appreciated.

Combination of styles

I always liked the ML1868 and the look of its dial, but not a fan of chronographs. Also, I like this brown leather rally band. It's not a precise design, but this is my mock up of what I would like as a military style watch. Sort of a combo of many.

ML08 questions

I want to buy one of the ML08 watches. I like the black with sword hands field style, but I'm concerned about how the numbers are painted/printed onto the rings underneath. Can you see this without magnification?

Secondly, is the lume the same for all the styles with white numerals? It sounds like the lime is better for these?

Also, which is your favorite? I do like the Murph black with white and the textured green-gray as well. I like the ML05 too... black with date. Trying to choose just one is difficult. It will be a present.

Prices and how they work online

I’m trying to figure out how Aliexpress works. It seemed like as soon as I created an account, prices of the watches I looked at escalated. Also, how do the coupons work? They are gone now so I guess they come and go, but is this random or is it a pattern or is the calendar a factor?

Militado ML24 - any owners?

This looks like a nice summer watch. Wondering if anyone here has one. It’s fairly new and not mentioned much online anywhere. I think it would look great on a tan/khaki canvas band. I think it’s the same case as the other field watches by Militado. How do they look on an average male wrist. Looking at this one for a gift.
