Do you think freebie seekers are mostly just consuming content rather than becoming customers?

I've started to think that freebie seekers and potential customers are often two different audiences. A lot of people will happily download something that's free, but very few take the next step and become paying customers.

Freebies can still work, but they don't seem to be the lead magnet they once were. I actually think case studies work better because they show real results and attract people who are looking for solutions, not just free downloads.

I'm curious whether others have noticed the same thing. Have case studies worked better for you than freebies, or have you found another approach that attracts more paying customers?

80 Domains .com What Pattern Do You Notice?

I've been building my portfolio over time and ended up with around 80 domains across different niches including finance, insurance, healthcare, travel, AI, SaaS, local services, and eCommerce.

Instead of asking for appraisals, I'm curious about something more interesting.

When you look at a portfolio, what immediately catches your attention?

Do you look for brandables or exact-match names?

Which industries do you think have the strongest resale potential in 2026?

What makes you instantly think, "I'd buy that"?

Are there any names you'd definitely keep for the long term?

Here are the domains:

I'm not looking to sell them here. I'm interested in learning how experienced investors evaluate a portfolio at first glance. I'd love to hear what stands out to you and why.
