What to put around the attic wall leading to my vaulted cealing living room?

The walls are reading 105° in living room and the trapped air leaking from attic is adding lots of heat. Is fiberglass good?

This vaulted ceiling living room is reading 105° in the afternoon, what can I do?

1950s build. South facing home. There’s attic access above, around the room, but this room is directly to the roof. Central air was installed and the solar gain is crazy in this room when ac isn’t running.

Humidity is in mid 60s

Overcool with AC and Dehumidify with AC have been on and are not helping, instead house is an icebox and ending up with long runtimes. What else can I do?

Temp sensor totally off and I couldn’t get the heat on manually. I had to flip breaker to reset to get it working again. Noticed no info on reports for last 6 hrs as well. Anyone have this happen before?
