Hey, I'm currently in MAM (VIP user class; member for about 6.8 weeks) and want to join more private trackers. I did a bit of research, and these are the trackers I'd like to join in the future: OPS, GGn and BLU/ATH. My current main goals are OPS and GGn.

RED isn't really an option for me right now (especially because of the long interview wait times and more difficult economy), so I'm mainly interested in OPS. My next goal right now is to join OPS via the interview.

I heard some people say that OPS has closed interviews for the foreseeable future and the only way in is through invites or recruitment on other trackers (so not possible for me right now). Other people say that OPS interviews still reopen sometimes on weekends. I saw a thread from about 9 days ago saying that OPS interviews were briefly open and that you just need to check IRC regularly over the weekend.

So, are interviews still opening? And if so, is there any timeframe when they usually open?

If interviews do reopen, I also have a few questions about the interview itself (I know a few things are already answered on the interview site itself but I was wondering about your personal experiences):

- How long can I expect to wait before getting interviewed once I join the queue?

- How long does the interview take?

- How much time do you usually get to answer?

- How long does it usually take to study the interview material properly, and what's the best way to prepare?

- Are there any common mistakes during the interview that I should avoid?

- How difficult is it if you've properly studied the interview material?

So far, I've only been a member of MyAnonaMouse (MAM) and had no issues seeding from an old laptop on a shitty Wi-Fi connection. However, I recently bought a NAS (connected via 1 Gbit LAN to my router) and want to move my setup over to it.

I plan to join more private trackers in the future and have heard that MAM is an exception due to its generous bonus point system.

My main concern is my pretty slow home internet connection:

- Download: 60 Mbit/s

- Upload: 20 Mbit/s (sometimes drops to 10 - 15 Mbit/s or goes up to 25 Mbit/s; sadly there's nothing faster available where I live)

(Speeds without VPN; I will be using Proton VPN with IPv4 Port Forwarding and IPv6 disabled since I'm in Germany and already have a Proton Unlimited subscription)

My Questions:

1. Will I be fine with 20 Mbit/s upload (minus VPN overhead; with IPv4 Port Forwarding) on private trackers?

2. Should I get a seedbox (for ratio building; and just sync completed downloads to my NAS for long-term storage)?

3. If I need to/should get a seedbox, what cheap options should I look into?

Hey, I'm looking to emulate 3DS games on my modded Switch V2. What is the best emulator for that? Dekopon, Raika Azahar, Tico + Tico Azahar, Switchroot Android + AzaharPlus or something else? Do you have any additional tips? Thanks in advance!

Hey, I just booted my modded Switch into the sysNAND accidently. Airplane mode was on (no internet connection) and I had DNS MITM and Exosphere set up. However, a custom theme which I set up in my emuNand was still applied and I heard that my Switch will get banned if I use the sysNand with a custom theme. However, it wasn't connected to the internet. Are there any traces left that will get me banned? Will my switch get banned if I boot the OFW (without CFW) and enable the internet connection to play online? Or is it safe because the sysNand wasn't connected to the internet?

I own a Tolino Vision Color in Germany with firmware 5.18. I’ve heard that you can switch to Kobo firmware, unlock Kobo-exclusive features, and get modding support from the community by doing so.

I don’t really use the Thalia or Hugendubel ebook stores or Onleihe anyway, so losing access to them would not be a major problem for me.

My questions are:

1. Is this possible on my Tolino Vision Color with the latest firmware (5.18)?

2. What are the advantages and disadvantages?

3. How difficult and safe is the process, and can I restore the stock/original Tolino firmware if something goes wrong?

4. How do I do it correctly, if it is possible?

5. Are there any other “modding things” you can do besides switching from the German Tolino software to Kobo software?

Hey, I have an RX 7800 XT. AMD recently released FSR 4.1 for RDNA 3 (RX 7000), however I can only find how to use it on Windows. I know that PROTON_FSR4_RDNA3_UPGRADE=1 existed for some time but that was for FSR 4 (not 4.1) and unofficial. Since there now is official FSR 4.1 support for RDNA 3, I was wondering if I'm able to use that on CachyOS (with the latest proton-cachyos, Steam and a game that currently uses FSR 3.1 (e.g. Hogwarts Legacy). If yes, how to do it? If it's not possible, will there be a way to do it in the near future and if yes how?

Hey, I started “coding” a while back. By that, I mean I mostly just blindly followed tutorials and didn’t learn much from them. I have some really basic Java and Python knowledge, but I still don’t really know how to code by myself, and I haven’t made any projects of my own.

Hey, I have a Poco F6 and want to unlock the bootloader. I have been doing the application for unlocking through the Xiaomi Communty app every single day at 0:00 China time, but I keep getting the Application quota limit reached error.

I'm on HyperOS 3.0.5.0 (EEA). Did anyone manage to unlock the bootloader and got any tips? Or are there any other reliable ways or workarounds? Thanks!
