One hive has turned insideout, and we desided to open the lid, and scoope em back home.... seems to work.. but?! This is swarming???

Good warm day after many a fouthnight with overcast and smal drips from the sky....

It tok us tree hours and they then seem to sattle down, we added a super and just moment after the lid was on the rain fell down again. So happy they are safe... them rascals..

Now will they do another run like this, all the bees you see is from one hive, and they sat on the others with there ass up and wafting with there wings??

And now wierd sounds from another hive??

I saw all my 4 queens today, have not spotted em all when I have done a checkup, so this is nice.

My 3rd hive has alot of drones, aprox 50, what does that mean? It is also my strongest and my queen has to be related to Usain Bolt she jumps frame to frame like no other and last checkup I did worry I somehow had two queens there, but that is now debunked.

I also have a fifth hive I try to manipulate to make a vergin queen but no luck so fare as I can tell... will there be more laying of eggs or is this it from the queens????

Spotted swarm cells in one of my hives today. Translation: the bees decided it's time for a new queen, with or without my permission.

So I improvised. Grabbed two frames with queen cells, mixed in brood and bees from two other hives, added some fresh frames, and gave the whole crew a new home.

Now we wait. Either I've just made a brand new colony, or I've made an expensive box of confused bees. Wish me luck or tell me I'm stupid. The bees will deliver their verdict in a fortnight or so.
