Which ones you got for your first marathon?

Nike Alphafly 3 vs. Puma Deviate Nitro Elite 4

Firstly, I’m aware I’m not fast enough for either with a 3:30-3:45 finish.

But there are only a handful of shoes I can wear as they need to be stiff, rockered, not too soft and have a wide toebox. For an arthritic big toe.

Was set on the Nikes after a lot of research on midpack finishers. But for some weird reason, I can feel my big toe lightly touch the end at pace and worried what that will do over 42km.

They also just feel like springs that are a bit wobbly and now that my long runs are over 30km (in SB2) I can see why people say to just choose comfort.

I also just feel like a knobhead wearing them. People legitimately point them out to their friends as I run by. So when warming up and cooling down, I get self conscious.

So my lack of self control won and I bought the Pumas on sale. They feel more stable but less bouncy. Fit is better despite some creasing up front.

Do I play it safe and wear the Pumas, or go for bounce?

I have 7 weeks to decide so will take them both on long runs. Not a bad dilemma to have.

6’4, 83kg, 173 cadence, midfoot striker.

IEM Tip Fits.

Hi, fairly new to IEMs. At the moment, I have a set of Moondrop Aria 2 and Simgot EW300. For both, I'm using the stock silicone tips (or what I assume is the silicone tips, please correct me if I'm wrong).

With the Aria 2, it's pretty easy, I changed to the large-size tips, and it sits comfortably. However, with the EW300, I feel the tip is a little bigger, and it's pushing against the external ear canal. Is that normal? When I change the tips from large to medium-sized tips, I feel that it doesn't seal properly so it sounds a little funny.

Basically, with the Aria 2 it feels like I can wear it all day long yet EW300 feels slightly less comfortable. I'm supposed to use the tips that seals right, right?

Can I count clubing as zone 2 training ?

Hello, first time here :)
Honest question, I like dancing in club around once a week.
While I'm there I have already launched a gym cardio workout for fun just to see the effort I'm doing.
Well I'm basically at 135/140 bpm average for a few hours. Hence the question : does that make my heart train like running or biking ?
I also drink during those nights, which can definitely increase my bpm. Does it nullify some or all the "training" during those nights ?
Same question could be ask for any substance that could increase bpm !
If I where to record the whole night it would lead to
Tremendous training load, would that be somewhat fake ?
Thanks for your insight and have a great week end :)

When Jiji was a kitten about 7 or 8 months, she lived in our house, but we will bring her to my parent's place occasionally for dinner. We'll lock all the doors so she couldn't go out and she have the extra space to roam for an hour.

We couldn't find her after dinner, we looked everywhere. Then we found out it someone had opened the door in balcony. She must have went out onto the roof through the balcony, slipped and fell off. I panicked and immediately went outside to look for her, thought I've lost her for good...

Jiji could have just broke something when she fell (but she didn't, thank God) or roamed around since she was outside and alone for the first time and she would have gone missing. When I went looking, I found her sitting right outside the house, looking into our dining room, waiting. I couldn't be happier!
