Hey everyone, flying out of BBI recently? If you haven't been to the airport in a couple of weeks, heads up on a major lounge shuffle.The old Bird Lounge (the cramped little room before security near Gate 2) has officially shut down permanently.

Honestly, good riddance—it was tiny, always packed, and didn't even have a restroom inside.Instead, we now have the post-security O'Vetra Lounge located on the ground/first floor near Gate 8 in the domestic departures area (airside).Quick Rundown of O'Vetra Lounge:Location: Terminal 1, Domestic Departures (After security check, near Gate 8).

Hours: 24 hours daily.

Capacity: Around 75 seats—way more spacious than the old setup.

Vibe: Clean, modern, calm ambiance, and they even serve local touches like Chenna Poda.

Amenities: Hot buffet, Wi-Fi, charging points, flight displays, and a complimentary shoe-shine service (alcohol is paid extra).

Access: Accepts Priority Pass, Dragon pass, and select credit/debit cards (though check with your bank as card compatibility is still rolling out fully compared to the old lounge).

Much better experience than sprinting through security after a pre-security lounge snack! Has anyone tried out their card compatibility here yet? Let me know which cards worked for you.
