My question is above, those who own a full bottle of the original and full bottle montagne and wear them both on a regular basis, how do they compare. I dont mean off the strip, or a one wear comparison, i mean the feel of the fragrance. Aditionally my question is if you own the MP are there any you would want to wear over the og.

Amber elixir
My first real disappointment from montagne. I love BA but this has a sour fruit note, I wont go as far as to say pee, but its simmilar. Definately a no from me. I will say however that this note is undetectable from afar. Additionally, it doesn't project nearly the same as BA.
Harmony
Yes, its close. I haven't smelled symphony in a few months, but from what I can remember, it's the same. Beautiful fruity scent, this one is a maybe for me.
Tygr cologne
I already own AD so this seems like a bit of a redundant purchase if i were to go ahead with a full bottle. Haven't smelled the OG but it is similar to afternoon dive, with some sharper citrus and less aquatic feel.
Bleu Talisman
Beautiful pear. It has some great longevity and projection for the profile and smells quite pleasant. Its fairly unique but nothing super special at the same time.
Gentle silver
Very unusual compared to the notes. I have not smelled the OG, but this one reminds me of ysl myslf parfum with an aventus absolu base that comes out after a few hours. Not sure if im stupid for this, but again, just my personal opinion. It is quite nice and its now on my list to purchase, definitely mass appealing.
Brooklyn Jazz
Not much to say other than its like the OG, but less offensive and just generally better.
My favorites from all the decants I tried are vanille fraiche, and chilly pacific.

Today I tried cacti garden and vanille fraiche.
Cacti garden
Straight on skin it reminded me on clinique happy for women that my mom would wear: note that i dont have it to compare side by side so im sure they are quite different, but in my memory they share some similarities. Around 3 hours in it is, to my nose, a nice barbershop scent with some green, mint, and woods. It is super well done and unisex masculine leaning. I am unsure if i will buy a full bottle but its definitely mass appealing as my whole family loved it.
Vanille fraiche
Okay now we’re talking signature scent worthy 🤑. This is next level. In the past i had a 2.5ml decant of layton exclusif, and still have a few drops left. Keep in mind I am yet to smell the og layton. It is very and i mean very resembling of layton exclusif. Super sophisticated scent, the only thing that is missing is the woody base, although it somehow doesnt lack depth. Its very hard to explain, it feels like there is wood there but you cannot smell it. I love it and will be purchasing! Definitely worth a try if you like layton exclusif.

Three words: transcends the game. I tried pacific chill in the past and idk why people say its not close; to me it’s insanely well done and i love it. Definitely scratches the itch. Definitely on the wish list now!

I haven’t tried the og, nor have i tried tuscan leather but to me its somewhat (take with a grain of salt) similar to boss bottled beyond, definitely better imo. I dont think i will be purchasing a full bottle, as its not quite the oud smell i was expecting but nonetheless one of the best leather fragrances i have smelled. Just wont work for me!

I bought a cologne, and spend a good 3 hours choosing and smelling the whole store. I walk out with the tester on my wrist after buying, safe to say it lasted 45 minutes, so now im considering returning, it was a 20% off day for the store, but still can return it unused and unopened. The lady who sold to me was so nice and she makes commission. So im wondering if its frowned upon to do that.
