Last night Big Blue Madness may have been the worst one ever, and they haven’t been good for exciting for a very long time. Here are the key problems I see.

-The camp outs prior to madness and the rush to get in line was really always the spectacle.

-With social media, people already know who they are.

- I don’t know if it’s Tik Tok or what but I’m tired of seeing people dance.

-with the constraints of size Rupp doesn’t really encapsulate just how big big blue nation is.

My thoughts on improvement.

Mimic what the Reds do in Cincinnati for opening day. Have a big parade from Joe Craft to Rupp and call it March to Madness. This would serve to purposes. 1. Get the spectacle back in 2. Showcase the sheer size and passion of BBN.

Each championship could have its own float with team members riding with it. Players could work with float builders to make their own specialized float that really introduces us to who they are. Great opportunity for local business.

No one else is doing it. It would make it an all day event that would showcase Kentucky for its unique passion for the game.

The madness event itself could then been trimmed down a bit to just do a few skills comps, speeches,etc..

One more report on The Hidden Chapter bookstore in Ft. Thomas. Sounds like they are planning business as usual.

Pretty good piece on what I posted about last week. What this doesn’t go into, but I think is worth investigating in light of the allegations, is his brief stint as a police officer for Montgomery.

Big win for him and his staff. Keep the positive momentum coming.

I hate to wish my life away, but this show is so damn good I’d take Wednesday (Tuesday early release) now! Forfeit the long weekend and let’s get to it.

No offense, I don’t want to hear your all’s crazy ass theories anymore. I just want to get to this next episode. I haven’t had a craving this bad since my first few months of sobriety.

Inside No. 9 was the only show that had me intrigued as much as this one in a long while. Since that has ended this was just what the doctor ordered.

Look let’s face it. It’s his last year here. He tried his best. He just doesn’t have what it takes.

He is so overly optimistic that he can’t see reality even when everyone around him does. His last coaches “call in show” he said “wait” with such confidence that one would assume he had already locked guys up. But now we see where they are. He went big game hunting and came back with an antelope and a few prairie dogs.

His behavior during the season was weird and I presume carried over into recruiting. As bad as the season was it was made way worse this off season. Kentucky’s brand has been nothing but hurt by this guy.

But….let’s just try to let him finish this year, as frustrating as it is, and try as be as supportive as possible. He cares about the program and gave it all as a player. So let’s try to give him that and we go find someone that can win here.
