This was an album I made a few years back when I just started out making music, and although it's nowhere near what I've been doing lately, I've looked back on it fondly as a creative and atmospheric little project, and I felt like you guys might appreciate it.
The album was a concept record, essentially the story being that in the 1800s in the rural town of Porter, Maine (real town, real-ish story) there was a mine in the hills (which DOES exist btw) and I made up a story of a man who worked in the mine but it got flooded and killed him. The townspeople had to wait years and years for the floodwaters to go away before they could even think about entering. But over time, they just forgot about him. It follows a clear story, and although some of the tracks are rough, I feel like for being 14 and just figuring things out, it's a neat idea and a neat little album. Anyway I only posted it here because some of the tracks are very Phil-coded, and the whole thing is lo-fi. And I've been sharing my music here anyway!! Hope you enjoy!
