It has become well known and even covered by the BBC that Ugandan scammers burn, remove limbs without anaesthesia, beat, starve, imprison, torture, even violate dogs and cats to make the animals look as pitiful as possible so that they gain donations from well meaning citizens. I have developed a petition that asks the UK government to place conditions on Aid to Uganda that includes the Ugandan government taking action on animal abuse and online scams.
