Spotted downtown (pun intended)
First encounter. Didn't realize how big they are.
Smooshed on sight.

I had a manic episode a couple weeks ago at like 2am after a not-so-great shift at the local restaurant where I work as server/bartender and decided to apply to Ruth Chris. I kind of forgot about it, but got a call today from the hiring manager and now I have a server interview on Monday.
For those of you who work/have worked there, what's your opinion? How's the culture, work life balance, schedule flexibility, usual volume, section size, average weekly earnings, interview process, etc? Any feedback you can provide would be helpful.
In February I bought a ticket to a concert in Philly while I reside in NC. Stoked to go so didn't read fine print. Fast forward to June when my job situation goes topsy turvey and I decide to sell my ticket. Its a face value resale deal on ticketmaster, which I'm fine with, but I honestly just want to make ANYTHING back so I list it on stub hub for less than face value.
Ticket sells within a few days and I assume the transfer option will become available in TM 24-48 hours before show time. Nope. The event organizer has asked TM to not enable transfer AT ALL.
So, now, apparently I'm responsible for the total cost of the ticket (sale + StubHub commission). As is EVERYONE ELSE WHO SOLD A TICKET ON STUBHUB FOR THIS SHOW. How is this not a scam?
I can't travel this weekend to Philly for the show. Listing one ticket at $65 on cash or trade TERR A Seat 324. Less than face value! Help a brother out!
Dealing with half the county being without water/under a boil advisory all day, now my power goes out. If I didn't know better or let my paranoia take over, I would say were under attack.
Selling one ticket to the Philly 3 Pianos concert on 8/8. Lost my job a month ago and not local to the Philadelphia area so won't be able to attend. Seat is Terrace A Seat 324. Only asking face value (can actually only resell at face value).
Posted a week ago, had some interest, but no follow through. Really hoping someone will help me out in my time of need.
Lost my job a month ago and have had my solo ticket for resale for face value on ticketmaster since I found out. Could really use the money back to cover my normal monthly expenses.
I know Andy's fans are a charitable folk. If anyone wants to help out a fellow fan and buy the ticket whether you use it or not, it would really help me out. I'm also not local to the Philadelphia area so there's no way I could use it.
DM me for section and seat info if you're interested.
If this type of post isn't allowed, sorry.
What does everyone think of or know about Meridian?
Its been around for 20 years but its never brought up in discussion of date night restaurants or any other restaurant threads on reddit. Its Google reviews are mixed and there's not many go to by.
Am I a victim of the mandala effect or having a fever dream or was there a restaurant called My Cousin Vinny's in the glass area of Milton Rhodes where they currently do pottery like 20some year ago? I vaguely recall it and that it was owned by the same people who own Burke St Pizza, but i need someone to corroborate my failing memory.
I'm 43, 6' tall, blue-eyed, dad bod (but remain physically fit), divorced, financially and emotionally stable, and generally have my life together. Homeowner, music lover, concert addict, and the type of person who can spend hours talking about everything and nothing. I can be thoughtful and introspective, but I also laugh at dumb jokes and occasionally act like I'm still 25.
What am I looking for? Honestly, connection without unnecessary complications. Someone who enjoys good conversation, mutual attraction, inside jokes, spontaneous plans, and the kind of comfort that comes from genuinely enjoying each other's company. Life gets busy, relationships can be complicated, but human connection is still important.
I'm not rushing toward wedding bells, nor am I interested in treating people like disposable entertainment. Ideally, this would be something built on trust, chemistry, friendship, and the understanding that adults can appreciate intimacy while still keeping things simple. Proximity to North Carolina is also important.
We can all agree the world feels a little on fire lately. In the wise, immortal words of Frank Reynolds: "I don't know how many days I have left, so I'm gonna get real weird with it."
My version of getting weird includes drinking wine out of a soda can, saying yes to experiences that make me slightly uncomfortable, and trying very hard to stop measuring my life in productivity metrics.
Recovering workaholic. Learning to smell the roses. Realizing roses are considerably better when there's someone next to you saying, "Hey, check out that weird-looking one." Bonus points for cool rocks or sticks found along the way. Proximity to North Carolina is a plus too.
I'd love to find someone who gets excited about planning a trip, buying concert tickets before figuring out the logistics, wandering through a new city, trying a restaurant we've never heard of, or occasionally doing something that becomes a story we'll laugh about for years.
Looking for connection, curiosity, and someone who thinks life is too short to always play it safe. Maybe not forever, but I'm willing to see where things go.
All i really want is to find someone who wants to lay in bed all day, eat junk, watch the extended edition of the lord of the rings, and maybe fool around a little. If you’re local to NC/VA/SC and want to get to know a pretty cool dude, DM me.
