Would this armour look weird if it was flared fabric instead?

So, I currently have plans for everything else except for the arms and boots. Gauntlets wouldn’t be hard to make out of foam, it’s the boots that make me worried how it’ll hold up on a day of a con. I don’t have a ton of EVA foam and I’d kinda like to save on money, but if anyone thinks it’ll look best than I can figure something out. I was thinking, instead of doing the whole thing out of foam, I could just do it out of the fabric from the dress I have. That way it matches perfectly, and it won’t take as much time. I’m just worried the flared sleeves/leg warmers won’t be easily recognizeable, but maybe I’m overthinking it.

How do I make this wig more geometric?

Okay so, I’ve only styled like 1 wig before, it was pretty scrappy but the character had a rough haircut so it worked out anyways. I have never done a helmet wig before, and I’d really rather not do that. I don’t have the time for that, unless some of you think it might be faster for the look I’m going for. I LOVE her volume in the ss I have, she has so much bounce to her hair in the show and I don’t want a motionless wig. Does anyone have any suggestions? I have some EVA foam, I was wondering if I could cover that in some hair wefts I have and add it to the middle of each section? But I don’t want to waste the hair wefts if anyone has any other ideas. Also, ignore how choppy the bottom of each section is, I just want to figure out my volume problem before cutting anything more because it’s a bit longer then I want it in the end right now.

Would it be easy to add more fabric to the skirt of this dress?

I have this pattern I put together for a dress I’m making. I used some thrifted fabric I have for a “test run” because I haven’t made a large piece like this yet, I find I learn more making a bad first draft. The skirt was slightly too tight on my hips and legs for me personally. If I wanted to add more fabric to make it a flowier skirt, would I just flare the bottom of the pattern a bit more? Starting at the waist? If so, should I only add fabric to the front? Or both the back and the front piece?

The reason I bought this pattern is because of the neckline and the fitted shape. The size is perfect on me other then the skirt, I’m hoping it won’t be too difficult to do?

I am going to college, what advice/experiences do you have?

I’m a little stressed about going to school again, my highschool experience was awful, but I also know that I’ve grown quite a bit since then. It’s only been a year but now I got into a fashion design course! It starts in September and I want to prepare myself as much as I can so please share any advice or any good/bad experiences you have in the comments.

I don’t really feel confident driving.

So I got my drivers license back in October/November ish. I took driver’s ed to get it, and my instructor was an awesome teacher, I still think about the advice he gave me but I’ve been really hesitant on the road lately. Basically, on my way to and from work, it’s a straight road. There’s only a couple turns I go on, and I’ve memorized it all. My only issues occur, when I go somewhere I usually don’t go. Specifically in towns where there’s a lot of cars, and traffic lights. My brain KNOWS the information, but sometimes I feel like I come to a blank, and I start to second guess the information I know. This one example has been in the back of my head for a week now: I was at a 4 way intersection with a traffic light and I was trying to turn right. I’ve gone down this route a couple times before and almost always there’s an advanced green (turns out sometimes it’s just a normal green light) . Suddenly, the light turned green and there’s no little arrow for me to follow. Looking back in the situation, I KNOW what the right thing to do was, yield to oncomming traffic and wait till it’s clear to go but for some stupid reason I start rolling forward and just go when a car gives me space (they honk at me and I feel guilty but I was already turning, for some reason I just committed to it) I just feel like an idiot, there’s only a few times something dumb like this has happened to me, but I worry that a cop is gonna see me do something like this and I really don’t want to have a bad habit of it happening.

I’ve been trying to improve, but it’s hard. I do have a new rule for myself, especially when turning: if I hesitate once, I should wait for whatever cars to pass and then decide whether it’s safe or not. Although, this rule isn’t foolproof, what if there’s a car behind me and they get mad at me for waiting so long? It’s been helpful especially because I’m still learning how little time it takes to pull out and get up to speed limit, but again, sometimes my mind focuses on everyone else around me judging me if I’m doing the correct thing or not. Does anyone have similar struggles? Or any advice? I know I’m not a dangerous driver, but continuing making mistakes could cost me a lot one day.
