I am far from a “true crime” person but I work in healthcare (specifically GC and RM for a multi-hospital system) and this book always gets talked about…I’m only ~50 pages in and it’s very interesting (morbidly so). I think anyone who works in healthcare (clinical, admin, etc) would find this to be quite fascinating. Look up Charlie Cullen if you’re not familiar…

So I had about 90 minutes to kill before a show in Worcester, MA…and figured there was nothing wrong with being “that guy” and reading a book at the bar while I waited for some friends. Just about finished Flight of the Eisenstein and had some unbelievable beers and delicious food. It was a good Sunday…also like 3 separate people made comments about The Horus Heresy/40k so that was rad.

I’m only about 20ish pages in…and it’s a little confusing…but I’m very excited to get really deep into this. I’m almost embarrassed it’s taken me this long to finally crack this one. Also…RIP Dan Simmons

Just finished the opening trilogy to The Horus Heresy…and now I feel completely obligated to read the entire series. All 60+ books…what a journey

Really nothing better than reading a good book about the Civil War, while on vacation with a bottle of Rye and a coffee…also The Killer Angels was phenomenal and look forward to reading Gods and Generals shortly
