The interaction of Apple and pickles is truly divine. Had it with a 180g patty, cheddar, garlic butter toasted buns, crispy potatoe slices and chilli cheese sauce over the apple and a whiskey sour to go with it.

What do y'all think were the most perfectly fitting product placements in movies and shows?

I'll start with the ups+ Nike air sneakers in George of the jungle. Idk why but him unpacking these dope looking shoes wearing just a loincloth. and having a little aliens-style 'strapping up the equipment' scene before running to his damsel was pure gold! Since 99% of product placements are either obvious cringe or deliberately trying to hide it, i was wondering what other really well executed ones you could think of.

Is this a common typo in Sexbot Uprising or is this form of using quotation marks actually a legitimate thing in American English?

So I know the standard rules for quotation marks like

Xyz said "BlaBlabla blablabla".

or "BlaBlabla," Xyz said.

But in TJs book around pages 115-117 there's a prolonged monologue by one character over multiple paragraphs and there's jusz one set of quotation marks put at the beginning of a paragraphs, which is still part of the same monolog and there being like 4 opening quotation marks but one closing mark. Like:

Xyz says: "BlaBlabla BlaBlabla

"BlaBlablaBlaBlabla

"BlaBlabla

"BlaBlablaBlaBlabla"

Is this a proof reading error or does this punctuation fly in Yankee English?

If Belgium wins against USA the whole bench should hold their red shirts like a red card and just stand there facing the American bench like some refs

That would be the funniest sht ever, maybe add some trump dances too. The whole world is behind yall on this game
